  1. I have the HR 350Z and Nissan of Gloucester want £1036.16 for the clutch and £1000+ for the flywheel.
  2. Just been confirmed my 350Z is the HR version and as such to replace the clutch is £1036.16 and the cost of the Flywheel is just over £1000 without fitting. I have also been told my gearbox does not sound so good between 1st & 2nd gear so another big expense.I have wrote to the dealer asking for all of my money back seeing that I had the clutch slip the first time I did a fast overtake just three weeks after buying the car.
  3. I am surprised that it needed a new clutch at 40,000 mile's and surprised that a new flywheel may be needed to be replaced as well.
  4. You would think it wouldn't cost extra Ewen. But I recently (Saturday), had a quote to replace the clutch, which they supplied, I then asked the question "Would there be any additional cost to fit the flywheel at the same time" response was an addition 2.5hrs charge. Guess they wont be getting my business ...... Would you mind telling me how much the quote was to replace the clutch.as I have been quoted just over £1000.
  5. Had my car a month and clutch slipping under power. I have 3 month warranty but was told it don't cover wear and tear.I phoned trading standards and was told I should be able to claim my money back as the car was not fit for purpose.I will let you know how I get on after the Easter break. Keith
  6. Thank's for the info I will see if the dealer will let me have a new flywheel as well. I guess if the flywheel is not covered by the dealer I might have to pay for that separate so any idea what a flywheel and labour charges on that would be.
  7. I still do not understand why a slipping clutch should result in needing a new flywheel as the car is only done 40,000 miles and is just 6 years old. I have been told by trading standards I would be in my rights to demand my money back or get the dealer to fix the clutch so I guess he would not want to throw in a flywheel as well. I love the car to bits and apart from the clutch everything else is perfect and look's great. Look-see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4Biummqgms&feature=youtu.be

  9. Thank's all for the info and I hope to get it done under warranty but why would I need a flywheel as well. Keith
  10. Thank's for the info everybody but can you tell me why it would need a new flywheel as well as the clutch. Keith
  11. I have had my car for one month and found it needs a new clutch as it slips under full power.I went to my local clutch clinic who said they have to use the Nissan clutch kit which costs them £560 and with labour on top brings the cost to over £1000. Keith

  14. I would like to know what age range the 350Z attract's. I have the feeling I may be the oldest 350Z owner on here as I am 21 in my mind but my decrepit body is 67.It would be interesting to know who is the youngest on here as well as the oldest. I must say the 350Z make's me feel young again. I hope you will all take part in this poll even any lady members we might have on this great site. Keith
  15. I feel the same and even though I have only had it for two week's I cant wait to get up in the morning and take her on a run. Keith
