Hi guys
When I am driving there is a noise which seems to occur with every half revolution of the wheel, like there is a screw or something in the tyre. So I checked the tyres and noticed my rears were bald and fronts barely legal so I decided to buy a full set.
The noise is now more noticeable (I think). I dont know if my mind is playing tricks with me now but I also think I can feel/hear this noise more when driving at say 30 / 40mph whilst on a sweeping left. There is also a bit of wheel wobble when I am at around 60/70mph.
I took all the wheels off to check the wheel bearings and I could feel no play/wobble in any of them so I had a look at all the bushes I could see, I noticed something that I thought was strange but I am not 100% sure so I thought I would show it to some of you guys.
I dont know what this arm is called but there are bushes at either side.
on one side you can see the bush protruding through both sides of the sleeve as below (not a clear photo so you might not be able to see)
But on the other side of the arm you can see the bush at one side but at the other it doesnt look like anything is there, like the bush isnt seated correctly?
It is exactly the same on the other side but I have no idea whether that is meant to be like that!
I intend to polybush every bush but would just like to know where this noise is coming from because it is driving me mad. All I can tell is that it is from the front of the car, sometimes I convince myself its from the drivers side and other times I convince myself its passenger side.
Any help would be much appreciated

This isnt too far from me, my mum rang me up earlier to check it wasnt me! Not many sunset zeds around so she put 2 + 2 together!
I agree with Bockaaarck, no matter what the facts of this crash are it is a tragic accident and I feel really sorry for the family and friends involved
-
My mate linked me to this in the news.
Even my mum rang me because she saw this and started worrying about me, its not too far from me and I cant say i've seen another sunset zed around here so she put 2 + 2 together!
Looks a mess and its a tragic outcome even if they were driving too fast :/

Hi guys
I have a friend who has recommended a car show which is relatively local to me so I am going to be attending to see what it is about.
From what I can gather it is not a massive event and has a wide variety of cars (not just Japanese or zeds) but if a few zed owners came along it could be a good do!
Tickets are only £3 so I dont think you can go wrong! The link is below if you'd like a look.

Who fancies it?

It would be good to see the north more active

I thought thats what you would have meant haha.
I think i'll be going down on the Sunday
-
I've already noticed the work Mark does in the member traders section and when i'm ready i'll definately be putting in my requests for bonnet catch, plenum and throttle body!
That is a nice bay, it goes well with the colour of the car and doesnt look too much
-
Nice one ZeppoJeff, i'll give you a PM if I start feeling purple ðŸ‘

October 10th/11th
I saw the team tarmac zeds at JAE!
I'd also be up for a club stand with the 350z forum if there are enough people who want to go?
-
I think I like the purple, I feel the orange on orange might be too much for my taste, maybe if I saw it in the flesh I would think differently.
I did think about going black but then there is no contrast and I would like it to stand out a bit, I just dont want it to look silly.
Thanks for the input guys, i'll keep looking around to see if I can figure out what I fancy.

I am just after some opinions/ideas on what colour hoses etc. to get for my engine bay that will match the colour of the car, I have had a look around the forum but I think I need to be told what will actually go with my car because I have become really indecisive
Car is currently Sunset Orange and I have been thinking about, polished plenum, bonnet catch, throttle body and strut bar (maybe powder coated instead), then I was thinking about going with orange hoses but I think this may be too much, so what do you guys think about purple hoses?
I am open to ideas I just can't see the common colours such as blue or red going with the orange
Thanks for any input!

Hi guys
I have just come across an event called the Japshow finale which is held at Santa Pod. Quite a few japanese car clubs seem to have themselves a stand sorted out was just wondering whether anyone was going down in there Z?
http://www.japshowfinale.co.uk/index.html
I'm new to the car events/shows scene so I don't know much about them, maybe someone here has been before but it looks alright to me.
Anyone going?

Well I couldnt feel any play in the wheel bearings and the brake shield doesnt appear to be catching. Tyre weights are all there but I think I need to have the wheels re-balanced to try and elimate the wheel shaking at higher speeds, the wheel shaking is probably down to a worn bush though isnt it?
I think the route I need to take is start by replacing bushes until the problem goes
