In all fairness I haven't got a problem with the 276 engine but i wanted the 296 engine model. that's what i budgeted for if I wanted the 276 i wouldn't of paid what i did i would've got a 04-05 model car.
I've been cleaning my car today and took the plastic engine cover off to have a look around. I know there is a difference in the cam variable timing on the rev ups now I've been google'ing and from what I understand is my engine is a non rev up?! But how is this so? Or am I completely wrong? The car was advertised as a 350z gt 300hp
Here is a picture of the front of the engine.
So I also went through the service book to to confirm it actually is a 06 car. The dealer has wrote in the warrenty book with the date 15/05/06 and the car has 11 miles on it.
So why isn't mine a rev up?

Hi all!
Got my first black 350z last Sunday I've been admiring these cars ever since I passed my test so work has been great got loads of overtime in and saved enough to get myself one at 19
1st car - MG ZR van
2nd car - mk2 MX5
Now the day I bought the 350z
I absolutely loved the drive back!
I got myself some autoglym ultra deep shine polish which works really well for black paint
Going to take modding the car slowly don't want to rush these things but I do need new brake discs and pads opting for ebc yellow stuff pad and black diamond grooved discs.
When I'm braking at 80 I get a lot of shaking in the steering? Maybe the discs are warped
:/
