  1. Its more of a makeover if you look at the pictures from the bottom up, but if thats what you want to do, then you carry on! i myself owned a barry boys car when i first started driving, got my first corsa, it had the biggest body kit you could imagine, and had the worst paint job ever but hey i loved it haha!

  2. His feedback is zero despite being a member on ebay since last June , the location says Worcester , Warwickshire ? Worcester is in Worcestershire ! Also the engine bay looks like a scrap yard photo. I'd avoid it

Of course it says that, it always lists town/city and then the county.

Don't worry about a dusky engine bay, not everyone cares about the aesthetics of what can't be seen.

What does concern me is the service history. Early in its life it went 20k between services, then later 12k and now it hasn't been serviced in 17 months.

That could always depend on owners circumstances though? might have been doing his own service? i know i always service my own cars.

  3. Hi all,

I know it's probably been asked a thousand times and i did use the search function as i know how annoying these re-posts can be but I'm after a 350, it has no cruise control or any controls on the steering wheel for that matter (non GT) how hard/easy is it to retrofit the controls/wiring from a GT wheel onto a non gt steering wheel? i know on my previous cars, a lower spec usually has the wiring hidden in the loom somewhere but is this the case on the zeds?

    thanks in advance,

    Brad.

  4. I miss my RX-7 for its flames...they were one of the characteristic things about my car. Those who don't like them obviously never had a car that does it, it's great fun when BMW's try and sit on your arse on the motorway, a long late lift off the throttle and six foot flames pop out the back...what's not to like?

If I recall correctly, you can put more fuel into the map where the lift off path is, which they used to do to keep turbos spinning on gear changes. If you imagine that when you accelerate you pass up along a curved path on the map as the throttle position increases ahead of the revs, well when you lift off you follow a reflected path as the throttle position drops sooner than the revs and that's where to put the extra fuel which will largely pass un-burnt into the exhaust.

    Quick sketch here:

this is how my car is currently mapped, and how i achieved just short of 300 bhp from a stock b16 with a bolt on turbo kit lol! although it stinks of fuel on let off!

  5. After reading this, im sad to say i own a civic (crx) turbo.. and it pops and bangs through shifts lol no flaming though! however i thought i was moving up in the world buying into a 350 but it looks like the same things happens here lmao! still cant work out why you would want flames from such a nice car lol unless it was boosted then it would be cool!
