  1. Ok so just went for a 72 mile drive. Cut short because the oil light flickered on when testing the brakes lol so i came home. Im guessing that explains the low oil pressure. One other thing but ill stick that in the clutch thread.
  2. That makes me feel real good thanks for that dude!

  7. That part that looks tampered with, looks like there might be a kink in the wire, take the tape off, resolder some fresh wire in there, cheapest option first lol

  9. Sorry not ubuntu, XBMC is what i was suppose to put i read it somewhere not actually done it myself but i thought it was an ubuntu system
  10. Just needed to sit back and take a breath lol. Literally really easy once you know where everything goes and you have the right tools! used the clutch allignment tool the second time and the gearbox slipped on like a glove and didnt even need to bolt it to pull it together, i was flush with a wiggle! took 20 mins after the box was back on to bolt it all together and plug everything back in! If anyone is wanting to take a crack at it, now i know, im happy to give any tips/hints main one i think is make sure you take the top 3 gearbox bolts out from the top, down the back of the block, then lift the car as they was much easier to get to that way!

  12. I have a spare 7" screen and the best option i found was to get one of those rasberry PI's £25 ish, and just install ubuntu on it and run it as a media centre, use the aux output on it and do the Bose HU trick to make it aux in, but use the sat nav space for the screen.
  13. Will do on sat, i'll be emptying it and refilling it anyway! maybe tonight if i can get a sump copper washer!
  14. Yeah thats how mine was before doing the clutch, do you recon starting the car when the flywheel timing was out may have caused an issue?
  15. I done some searching and can only see people having problems with the oil pressure going all the way to the end, where as my problem/ query is slightly different, before i done the clutch, when the car would start up, the gauge would sit just sorta close to the first notch on the gauge, now not sure if related but when i start it now, it sits just over 0 on idle, goes up and down fine when driving, and it hasn't been ran properly for over 2 weeks, is that normal? it's due a P1 which i shall be doing on Saturday. Should i be worried? Regards, Brad
