That looks excellent; for a relatively small thing it makes a huge difference! Perfectly matched to the windows too.

Tail pipes
Car looks great mate; I do love the rolled tip option.

They've both opted for the OEM type in 5", same as we used on the demo 370z...
I'll be taking lots of photos when we fit them... Oh and sound clips too...
Good stuff!

Who's had one and how are you finding it
I get mine next week☺
Seriously tempted to get myself one.... Which tips did you go for?
-
I've resisted getting a Z logo on the key ring just in case I lost the keys or they were stolen, kinda identifies the car really...
I hadn't thought of that. In that case , maybe I'll also write "NOT A" above the logo....
-
One of mine (with the Z logo) is worn quite badly too, with the silver paint coming off the buttons. I might just colour it in with a felt tip though; that'll class it up no end I'm sure....
-
Even so, it does kind of look like they've missed out a "1" at the front of the price doesn't it?
(For what it's worth I've used GY F1s on a previous, albeit FWD, car and they were excellent.)

Where's the video?

didn't think Invidia was a true dual zorst - someone confirm ?
I've been researching (i.e, drooling over) them for a while - they are definitely true dual.

Your not a massive corner king are you? Probably a bit over tyred for an Astra. Falkens/Kumho might save you some dough.
I had both Kumhos and Falkens on my Focus ST; the Falkens were decent enough, but the Kumhos were borderline dangerous in the wet, even at sensible speeds. Goodyear Eagle F1s were the best I found.

I thought that Title said SPECSAVERS...!

Just had to go and check on mine as I`ve never used the key slot so never taken notice of it but no there is no light around the slot.
Ok thx very much appreciate it... Strange as at night it's hard find find the hole!
But why do you need to? It's an intelligent key, if you're talking 370.
My car sometimes gives me the no key warning when driving and I have an electric gate at work and it's easier if I know where the key is each time to operate it and not in my pocket etc...
Another bit of a side note, but if your electric gate opener is on the car's key fob it could be interfering with the key signal, which might explain the "no key" warning.

Hiya,
Try this; worked for me. You have to pair it as an audio device (as opposed to a headset).

(Sorry, can't get the hyperlink to work on this silly tablet.)

Yeah, I was seriously disappointed for what I considered to be a relatively new car- very nearly put me off looking for another, but fortunately the next one I saw was mint. Hopefully it was just a one-off though and not a sign of things to come.

The first one I test-drove (2010, 15k miles) was a complete dog; not sure if the problems it had are common but it suffered from:
Very noticeable transmission whine
Sluggish acceleration
Prematurely worn interior (cracked leather on seats and gear knob)
Centre console cubby-hole didn't shut properly
Lots of stone chips on the big ol' nose
Definitely seemed to have had a hard life!
I think they're also quite susceptible to rusting underneath too.

They're 5" slash cut. Go big or go home
Here's the sound clip as promised - you'll need headphones and the volume turned up...
Sounds awesome through my speakers at any rate - lovely deep growl!
I prefer the roll-tips, which only seem to come in 5" diameter. I did wonder if they'd look a bit too big, but I have to say your car wears them well! Also like the fact they don't stick out too much from the bumper, unlike some others I've seen.

Found this but it's not a very good quality video sound wise. I suspect the system sounds a lot better 'in the flesh'. From my own experiences of other exhausts it doesn't sound like an overly loud system (which is a good thing).
Can I detect a bit of a "hiss" on that video? Any chance that car also has their HFCs fitted? Sounds pretty good to me in any case.
Couldn't agree more on the volume; I just want something that sounds a bit more like a sports car. At the moment I have all the alluring sound of a Ford Transit without the added benefit of practicality....
-
^^ Me too
Would like to hear, or get people's opinions on, how loud this exhaust is compared to the usual CBE suspects.

I'm guessing it's a fault on their database, rather than user input error; if I put my reg into their "Sell My Car" page, it comes up automatically as a 370 Z. Must be two possible categories for our cars for some (or possibly no) reason.
-
Could be transmission whine; I test drove one that seemed to suffer from it before I bought mine, and I'm sure I read about it in a couple of reviews of the car.
Does the tone change with engine speed, or if you dip the clutch?

Re: GIXXERUK
Cheers mate! If I ever get the car photo-ready (i.e. wash it) I'll take some pictures - never been my strong suit though....
-
I'd been considering ordering the kit from the States, but it seems like way too much hassle. I'd certainly put my name down for one.

Still plenty of tread in the middle; I bet if you reset the camber you could get another couple of thousand miles on them....
