  1. Nice pics of some lovely cars! That GTR is gorgeous
  2. I'm looking at a set of rims for sale with the following fitment: 18x9.5 ET10 front and rear Would these work? Thinking of getting either Eibach or Tein springs at some point. Any arch work required? Also any issues with Brembo clearance? Cheers!
  3. Thanks mate! Ah cool, yes they are extremely reliable, I loved my FN2 to bits but wanted a change after owning it for 4 years. I too wanted something completely different and was a toss up between the 350Z and the S2000. TDi's boosted FN2 is amazing! *drool*
  4. Looks gorgeous on those rims!
  5. Some pics of my car from the dealership website... http://s167.photobucket.com/user/OAUL/library/My%20Nissan%20350Z%20GT and some pics of my previous car, my Civic Type R (FN2)... http://s167.photobucket.com/user/OAUL/library/My%20Honda%20Civic%20Type%20R%20FN2
  6. Lol yeah I expect it will! Cool, sure I will do, was surprised on how well it handles on my test drive!
  7. Welcome to the forums! Nice ride you got there! I'm from Woodbridge too!
  8. Cheers mate, I'll try not to aha Thanks! Yeah think I'm mainly going for cosmetics over performance to start with Haha I'll try be careful I like the look of the Stillen or Chargespeed
  9. Thought I'd start a build thread for my Azure 350z GT. Picking her up this Tuesday and honestly cannot wait! I'm already thinking of mods I want to do. This is my first rear wheel drive car I've owned, my previous car was a 2007 Honda Civic Type R (FN2) Mods I'm currently thinking about: - New rims Done! - Suspension (coilovers or lowering springs) - Exhaust - Front splitter Done! - Rear diffuser or different rear bumper - Duck tail spoiler - New headunit Done! - Experimenting with Vinyl wrapping and plastidip Done (kinda) - Change all the bulbs (already ordered) Done! - Stubby aerial Done! That's it for now, keep checking back for updates ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My completed mods (updated 29/03/15) Enkei RPF1's (18x9.5J ET15 / 18x10.5J ET15) Titan Neo Chrome Nuts TS Nismo Style Front Splitter OEM Front Splash Guards Dark Smoke Rear Tints JDM Front Plate Carbon Z Emblem Side Decals Honda RDX Stubby Aerial cs2000's Full LED Bulb Kit Silvatec Chrome Indicator Bulbs Japspeed Y Pipe Cobra Decats HKS Super Hybrid Filter Ironhide Orange Slam Panel Nismo Neo Chrome Oil Cap Pioneer AVH-2400BT Headunit Razo Neo Chrome Gear Knob Peugeot RCZ Cargo Net Richbrook 350Z Tax Disk Holder 350Z-UK and DOMO Decals Wrapped Rear Strut Bar in Gloss Black Flip Key Mod Jap Front Plate Fly Eyes On Rear Lights
  10. The 20 inc Tyres are not to high cost I got some Toyo,s all round for under £600 you just have to look Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Fair enough mate, just presumed they would be expensive So did I before I looked in to getting them after I had just bid on the alloys :-) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Haha I'm always doing that! Bidding before actually researching stuff lol
  11. Hopefully i am not teaching you to suck eggs, but they are not chrome, they are polished ally, in some cases they will come bare which is a headache to look after but looks awesome and in most cases on cheaper wheels they will come lacquered which dulls the shine of polished ally but makes cleaning a lot easier. The other problem with lacquer is if you get a little chip the water gradually creeps under and you get the white worm effect like Jetset pictured. Jays solution is probably the best of both worlds, shiney and maintenance free. Although there are other methods, clear anodising works well and for my next set i am going to try a clear protective wrap to see what that looks like No I understand a lot of wheels that look chrome are in fact just polished alloy, probably should have used the word "polished" instead. Gonna have to get myself some of that Rim Wax!
  12. Thanks! Yes I think I've already contracted this disease haha

    HKS Legamax

Does anyone have the HKS Legamax exhaust? Looks like a nice piece of kit, how does it compare to stock?
  16. Ah okay, not even the top brands are safe then! Didn't know you could powercoat in chrome
  17. Some nice ideas guys! Love the look of white on blue, and the Rays look gorgeous in white! Your car is lovely Only concern would be keeping them clean haha. LOL! Not too sure on green but thanks for the input Know what you mean on the gold, I prefer the whiteish gold best. That copper would look pretty nice I think!
  18. The Zed can definitely pull off 20's but personally I'd go 18's or 19's for the cheaper tyres, and spend the extra on the rims. Those Konig's are amazing! Not to hijack the thread but how would chrome lips hold up if you were to get better quality wheels such as Konig, Volks etc?
  19. Thanks for all the welcome messages everyone! Thanks for the advice! I have been considering the Invidia exhaust, just love the sound of it! There's so many mods I wanna do already lol
  20. They do look nice but you get what you pay for in quality! I got some cheapish wheels for my last car and the chrome lips corroded very quickly, wish I would have waited and got a better set.
  21. Thinking of changing my wheels on my Azure Blue 350z, which colours would work best? Black, white, silver, bronze, gold or maybe even a wilder colour? Pics would be a bonus! I'm thinking maybe a gold or bronze to be different...
  22. Hello everyone, my name is Paul Purchased my first 350Z yesterday and am looking forward to owning it and posting on these forums! I used to own a 2007 Civic Type R and wanted a change. Since I've always liked them thought the Zed would be a good replacement! I bought a 2006 (56) Azure Blue 350Z GT with 58,000 on the clock, picking it up Tuesday with a 2 hour drive home Any local owners about? I live near Ipswich, Suffolk. I'm thinking wheels, springs, exhaust and intake as my most important mods, any ideas from anyone?
