I washed and polished mine yesterday, was about to wax it and it pi**ed down.
Had to do it all over again today haha. Used Purple Haze. Then it tipped down again but this time the water beaded up and slid right off.

Off topic slightly sorry, but do you know the exact colour of them? Did you do them yu0rself? If so with a gun? Lovely colour and finish, just what I'm after when I get my GT's done!
Buy his, sell yours. It's the cheapest option
What he said. Even bashed up Tourers go for at least £100 on ebay. Possibly £200 if in decent nick.
At £200 these are a steal! Buy these, swap the tyres, sell yours, job done.
I have 18" Rays but preferred these wheels when looking at Zeds, they just look bigger than the Rays imo.

I quite like keeping the badges on mine, but then again I'm partial to keeping the rear wiper too
Ditto. I like the rear badges. I'm not ashamed it's a Nissan! Lol
Also I find the rear wiper a God send but do agree it tidies the rear up removing it. Having said that I want as many options on mine as possible. I might shove some more badges on actually haha

Did the entire car today with a little Dodo Juice Purple Haze panel pot, a few hours later it pi**ed down and the water just beaded and came straight off!
Cracking stuff and only cost a fiver or so off of ebay!

I did it by hand. If you use a machine it will obviously be easier. Depending on the severity of the cloudiness machine MAY be the only choice but to be fair mine were pretty damn bad and a little bit of elbow grease did the job.

Guys,
I fancy slapping a bonnet with a bulge on my 2004 UK GT.
Anybody have one lying about lol
Am I right to assume it's a direct replacement for my current one?
Cheers!

That seems a good price mate. Need to get mine done in a few months. Think it's just a P1 it needs so oil and filter only.
But get those snaps up soon!

I should have taken a before picture as they were dreadful lol. Only took a minute per side and the results are great.
Longevity will be interesting though, but even if it only lasts a week thats good enough for me as the effort and cost is next to nothing so doing once a week even is no big deal.
Here is the entire car done with the Scratch X:
Sods law mind is started pissing down mid wax lol. I didn't get round to using the Dodo Juice Purple Haze as it was getting cloudy so I used some NXT Meguiars spray wax to quickly try and protect the shine.
Will probably need to go over entire car again tomorrow lol
That stuff works WONDERS on scratches mind. I had a few scuffs on the rear bumper that are now literally invisible.

Hey guys,
As the weather was nice I decided to finally get round to giving the car a proper clean. One of the problem areas was the headlights which were seriously dull and cloudy.
I used the same product I used on the rest of the car to polish them up and I think they came up a treat!
I can highly reccomend Meguiars Scratch X 2.0. Cost me 7 quid on ebay.

It isn't too much to ask for and they pop up every now and again, but you have to be quick as every Zed in good nick priced under £6000 seems to dissappear quite quickly lol
My wife is pregnant and she has already hinted (Alot) at getting rid of the Zed but I'm trying to ignore the fact it's not practical whatsoever lol

Bradders, you want my car from the sound of it, black with black lol
Yours for only £6000!!! Hahaha
Tbh that tan interior is way too much in my opinion but it does seem to go with gun metal grey cars better.
Ideally I wanted an azure blue with black leather but this popped up first and I really wanted one ASAP before the wife convinced me to get a Ford Mondeo.
I would personally hold out for the colour you want and spec and mileage. Some people will throw good money at an auto import when another £1000 can get a UK GT with all the bobbins.
Good luck anyway!

My 04 GT has 118,000 miles on it and runs great. These are big engines and can take big mileage. I paid around £2000 less for mine because of the mileage.
Mine has 3 previous owners and a FNSH (Not that that's worth all that much lol) But the previous owners spent good money on servicing and used the car alot. Nothing wrong with that in my book!
