I read this thread far too late! would i still be able to make the run with you guys? i only live in Sheffield literally 10 minutes from the meeting point! I might pop up on the saturday aswell to meet some of you guys!

attak Z Ill have a look at that website now thank you very much gareth29 yeah its awesome especially the peak district roads they are good! Ive put super unleaded into it along with fuel system cleaner so hopefully it gets better it runs as sweet as a nut so I don't think it will be damaged really! but ill have to wait and see if the smoke disappears it looks like its either overfueling slightly or its not burning 100% but after the service ill see what its like then with a fresh set of spark plugs in it!

hey guys, Ive been a member for a while just because I was interested in 350z's and I have finally found one and picked it up last week. its a blue 54 plate GT pack with 140k on the clock but the car has been kept in ridiculously good condition. there is a few things I need to sort out with it but its a really good car and Im happily enjoying it at the moment. firstly Im going to be doing a full service to it this week which is all of the oils spark plugs and all of the filters. what oils would you recommend for the car? would it be Nissan oils or are there any good aftermarket ones? the 2 problems i do have are: an anti roll bar knock which is easily sortable and will be done in the next couple of weeks just wondering what else is common to go on the zeds in the suspension department. Ive also noticed a bit of black smoke coming from the exhaust on acceleration or when revving the engine but that might be due to it having normal unleaded petrol for most of its life does anyone else have this smoke or is it just me? and what sort of ideas do people have to get rid of it? overall i am extremely pleased with the car and cant wait to meet other zed owners in the show session cheers guys Conor
