  1. Finally found the right one.. Now to work through my list of to-do's!
  2. Thanks Gents, Some useful nuggets there. I'm still slightly concerned about the lowering springs and the border line of doing rear adjustable arms or not (assuming front is ok..?). I'd probably look at Eibach lowering springs or Tein. If anyone has some useful pics of their cars with lowering springs and spacers (let me know the size used) that would also be very helpful to get a visual confirmation of what route i'd like to go. Cheers.
  3. Hi Gents, Couple of questions for a potential new owner, take advantage of your opinions.. - What is the difference between a 350z GT & the 350z GT4, as far as I can gather it is slightly increased power, some different wheels and a production number badge.. is that it!!?? - Lowering springs, your recommendations (Eibach?) - If you fit mild lowering springs can the alignment be set up properly afterwards or do I need to consider other adjustable items..? - Spacers, your recommendations and what do you go for front and back, just to achieve a neater look of sitting nicely in the arches? - What's everyone's favourite stubby aerial? - What's everyone's favourite 'must do mod', small things that make a difference to owning your zed? - I shall do my homework but also interested on aftermarket exhaust and y-pipe, don't want to break the bank for some true duals and want to look as stock as poss.. Thanks for your time, look forward to your feedback.
  4. Hertfordshire... Trade link currently don't have what I'm looking for. Would rather buy direct, 8-10k. Let me know if you have anything that may suit, cheers chaps.
  5. Hello, On the look out for: Black on black 2005 <50k miles, higher poss.. tasteful mods considered GT spec, rays, UK cars only If you know of any, please get in touch. Thanks, Phil.
  6. Because this car is not the track car..
  7. Thanks again, but this is a 2007, looking for 2005 for low tax band. Not being a flint, it's just that a group of us are getting a track car together and the difference pays the tax on that!
  8. Thanks Stevo.. But I think it's too much money for a 70k 2005 plate, especially when i'm not keen on all the mods. I don't overly like the nismo kit, or the wheels, or the exhaust system, which are all the bits as to why the price is higher..

  10. Hi everyone, Been on the hunt for a black on black 2005 or earlier for a little while now. Posted on here about my failed attempt to travel to Northumberland only to find major rear end damage, joy. Recently it has come to light I know someone with one that he has had in a warehouse for a while. It has not been properly stored, just left in a warehouse for a few years surplus to requirements. Can you highlight anything that might be a problem in this scenario? The obvious ones that I can think of would be: - seized calipers - battery - oil change before cranking for the first time? - tyres (would sitting in the same spot cause a deformity in the tyre?) If the black on black hunt does not go to plan, I'm guessing it wouldn't be too much hard work to swap out the steering wheel and gear knob/gaiter, just leaving the seats on the Alezan colour interior? I don't mind the seats but the wheel and gearstick just puts me off! Oh and I just remembered, handbrake too.. Thanks for your help gents. Phil.
  11. Yeh i'm keeping my eyes out on here.. It has to be the right one otherwise i'm gona do something silly like get a boring sensible car. Pah..
  12. He reduced the price by a grand by the time i'd got back home! Really do hope no-one buys it without knowig about it.. it's fairly hefty damage. I still gave him a low offer knowing i'd be putting it on a jig and finding out exactly what the extent of the damage was.. kinda glad he didn't take my offer now. Anyone know of a clean, low mileage, black 350z, lower tax band would suit, let me know. Thanks.
  13. The rear bumper was repaired and painted incredibly badly.. This is what I found when I got down and looked under the bumper.. HPI was clear so my guess is someone has stacked it and tried to repair for a quick sale without fixing it properly. By the look of the impact you'd want to put it on a jig and find out what else is bent. Told the seller this and walked away.
  14. not to be... http://1drv.ms/1dQ0ME3 Just cannot believe people are not honest when you state you are travelling 5hrs to go see a car!
