Another owner commented on my exhaust saying it sounded nicer than his standard one.....
Now, the thing is.... i thought mine was standard.
i own a 54 plate GT (i think).
Had a look under the exhaust and its stamped with 'NISSAN CALSONIC'.
So i get the Nissan bit but the calsonic i don't get.
Anyone able to enlighten me to if it is a standard back box? as far as i can tell the rest hasn't been uprated.

One week today people! get your names down if your interested

Nwoc monthly meet. all welcome.
Our usual venue this month.
The Stag Hotel Garswood in Wigan December 8th, 19:00 onward.
The Stag Hotel in Wigan is a Marston's so it has a good, cheap and comprehensive menu.
It has a large quite car park to the rear in which we'll try to situate ourselves to the rear of to limit the chance of randomers parking between us and ruining our photo ops.
The meet will run from 19:00 to 23:00 on a drop in drop out basis. Turn up when you like for as long as you like. The full pub menu, bar snacks and drink will be available until 20:00 for those wanting to stay for their evening meal or just relax with a drink and get to know each other.
The address is:
Station Road
Garswood,
Wigan,
Lancashire
WN4 0SD
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum.

she should have her licence taken off her and the examiner should be checked out! causing an accident a week after passing is pathetic! hope it gets fixed
don't agree with that at all
forced to redo her test - yes maybe, but the examiner............come on get real - she would have performed satisfatorily in her test so why wouldn't he pass her
As Dan says - its why young person insurance is so high
Well put it this way, she clearly failed a very basic rule which you would fail a driving test on. doing so after only a week of having your drivig license makes you wonder. i drove like a saint for a good month or so before the rules started to get bent a bit and even now i make damn sure a junction is clear before i pull out! what if it was a motorcycle? possible fatality right there!
if she has to redo her test so short after, an examiner should be examined also even just as a formality!

Great stuff. Thanks for the advice guys
-
And while were on the subject, what brake fluid do people recommend
-
Not sure to be honest. Had it since February and I've not done it. Is it worth buying braided lines as well while in changing the fluid?
-
Sorry if this has been covered before.
got a 54 plate with brembos and when i press the brakes i have to let off and press again as the brakes don't feel they have binded properly first bite.
is this a common thing and is it worth buying some braided lines or do you think it could be something else?

great to get your opinions guys. i think my first thing will be exhaust and cats. I like the sound of mine at low revs but it qoes rather quiet past 4K rpm (ish)
as far as i know its a standard exhaust as it has the nissan stamp on it, but it does sound a bit throatier thhan others ive heard. dont think its got a whole in it to make it blow or anything.
Thanks for everyone's input
-
Considering taking my 54 plate zed to TDI north to have the uprev done.
But is it worth the money?
Whos had it done and how much more do you like driving your car for it?
-
yeh center console out and unscrew from behind to get the cubby box out as one unit. i sprayed my center console same colour as the car

I believe no matter what martial art you focus on, if you train hard and dedicate yourself to it, one is no better than the other. Say for instance, i study itf tkd. If a person of similar level in jiujitsu or a mainly grappling and throwing martial art comes at me, the idea is to take them out in one hit. Whereas jiujitsu is more about submission of the opponent.
anyone who says 'my martial art is better than yours' really needs to have their ego checked. Imo of course.

i did an ice bucket challenge but did not donate to the charity. mine was to spread the word for the charity even if it has been plastered all over the world.
My reason for not donating and not donating money to other charities is that i donate blood as often as i can.
I would rather donate something i have endless amounts of, and be pretty positive that it is actually going to the people that need it or for research purposes!
