Saw your car over at Atkins about a month ago mate.
Seriously great looking car, best I've seen by a mile
Thank you, I've just got back from the Wales weekend where there were quite a few nice zeds!
I was in for a P1 and brake fluid change before Wales at Atkins, always a good service from Chris.
Yes I can imagine that there was! I've never been to a meet .......... maybe one day!
Chris's done a few bits for me now and i agree the service is always excellent

Nice yellow zed with black wheels spotted on the M62 this morning heading away from leeds, towards halifax/bradford.
there's a right good chance that was me mate I work in Wyke, Bradford and take that route every day monday to friday. If it was somewhere between 8.00 - 8.15 then it was definitely me.

Atkins Motor Engineers, Malton, North Yorkshire mate. I take mine there as do a number of other forum members.
Chris has a Zed himself, he's done a great job on mine. He's a trader on here too. PM him Atkins666

Keith Flint's nan used to live down my road, so met him a few times. Also Liam Howlett used to frequent the pub I worked in at the time, both him and his other half were really nice people
If we're talking raves, we've got to mention Exodus. But only with the original crew, got full of muppets late on.
Also...
Snow! Spent a whole evening once with a mate trying to figure out the lyrics, with comedic results.
Did you go to any of the Exodus raves?? Great reputation but kept it all down South. There was enough going on in the North to occupy us Northern boys!

Illegal raves in the woods?? They used to have them around us
Out of the rave straight to the nearest service station to carry it on! Called off one time after a night at the shack and the coppers were waiting there were cars flying in all directions wraps and all sorts flying out of car windows :scare: Spent the following week bricking it incase they were taking reg Nos!
Proper couple in fields up in Lincolnshire where my cousins live ~ locally was more like just big parties around fires in the fields/hills/woods.
Also remember running my battery flat in my first car a few times because we had the interior lights on so we could skin up, ...erhhm I mean because we where listening to music and doing nothing illegal.
Sound like my kind of lad! I used to like to do nothing illegal regularly in my youth and my mate grew nothing illegal in his shed in Castleford

The 90s were all about the raves ...... orbit, after dark at morley Leeds, wigan pier, shack at Blackpool then there was another awesome place in Stoke that just escapes me! I think you lot were too young to really appreciate the 90s by the sounds lol!

I used to decorate my room with flyers from a load of those, but I was far too young to be at a rave, not to mention there weren't many in the Lakes where I grew up
I had tapes from Fantazia: The Big Bang, Rezerection, with acts like DJ Slipmatt, Ultrasonic, Rat Pack, The Time Frequency, Alern 8, Utah Saints...
Shame you missed out mate! I'm more of a metal head myself so wasn't too keen on the DJs, I was there for the ambience and to meet new people
That said I do remember hearing Faithless Insomnia for the first time in a rave in Blackpool and thinking it was the dogs!

I did that too.
DJ SY was good, Brandon Block, Ramos, Dougal & Vibes, Danny Rampling, Vibes, Hixxy & Sharkey ~ so many memories flooding back.
I've been raving before too Tigerzed. Best one I went to though was in the year 99/2000 I think it was at the Cardiff NEC ~ 12 hour New Years Eve rave.
Went to a couple of illegal raves too.

It's hard to say as the car came with the plenum and exhaust.
I then had the Uprev done at RS Tuning, Leeds. That gained an extra 11BHP. If you read on here pretty much everybody swears by the Uprev it really does make a big difference to the drivability of the car.
I had a chat with Paul who mapped the car and he only recommended Berks on top of the other mods to get any noticeable gains. I had the Y pipe done too along with the induction kit and then back for a tweak on the dyno and got it to 296.3BHP.
In fairness the induction kit can lose you a little power however they both look and sound nice! Performance wise stick with the standard air box and add either a HKS or Cosworth panel filter.
Let me know when you get things done please mate
