  1. I just assumed that was a rough idea of what they would be. Couple of my friends have been caught in Wales doing either 41/42 mph and 38 mph in 30 zones, both were offered the course.

  3. I know this may sound weird but is it just me that has nightmares about bad things happening to my Zed? I had one last night where I woke up (in my dream) to see that my Zed had been put on steel wheels (with kerbed plastic trims), changed my drilled brake discs for standard ones, changed my leather seats for some what looked like standard corsa seats and to top it off the engine was a diesel?

  4. As a side note, noticed a fair number of speed cameras up and operating on the M25 now, all grey coloured and some hiding behind trees growing by the side of the road. I thought it was made law that speed cameras are a deterrent not a revenue channel and if they are hidden or not clearly visible they are not a deterrent. So how comes these are exempt?

It's possible to get above 70 on the M25? I barely get above 50 on a good day!

Can be done just ask this guy

  5. This happened to me last year with Thomas Cook. Received a phone call about 4 days before our flight saying the hotel we were stating at over booked. So they provided us with a replacement which either had to be equal or better than our original hotel. Turns out after a quick look on trip advisor it was miles better ranked 6th out of 71 hotel whereas our original hotel was 20 something. Heard some horror stories about it as well while we were there so kinda dodged a bullet!

  6. In most places I need to park I have found 4 parking spaces that are there own. There own...I mean full parking space to it's self. Morrisons have one...whole space with nothing either side! It takes some sad research but they are there. Or find another drivers car and park next to it. Read the cars exterior and see how it's looked after.

I do take into account what I park next to if there is limited spaces. But I'll come back to some 5 door @*!# heap who has taken the cars place that I originally parked next to

  7. If I ever visit a supermarket like tesco I normally just pull up outside the store ... I have no interest in parking my car near people getting in and out with bags and kids or the odd idiot that leaves a trolley to roll into your car .... Get the disapproving look now and again but I'll take that all day long over dings

I've done this a few times when I've been waiting for the missis to pop in and get a few things. But then people still insist on going past my car with their trolley as close as possible even though they see me sat in it!

  8. Might have to just cover the Zed in bubble wrap in future!

I seem to have only noticed it with the Z, i had a classic mini for my first car that was my pride and joy, but never seemed to have anyone ding it or even park next too it if im honest, plus if i had the opportunity to park it in the covered trolly bays i would....then there was no chance of anyone dinging my car haha

Probably helped that the mini is about half as wide as the Z ha!

  9. Thing is my previous cars I really didn't care where I parked them and never really got many if any dings. I've had my Zed 3 months and have purposely tried to park away from everyone and have ended up with 4 already!

I parked a mile away from everybody in Tesco this morning at 9.30 they don't open the

tills till 10 so gave 30 mins to get what I needed and out of there before the crowd.

Came out at 10 to find most of the car park still empty, except the space next to me

where some crappy Z4 had parked 2" from my door..WHY..Most of the car park was

still empty...!!!! Boils my pi55...

I get this all the time. I always park down the far end of asda car park which is a good couple minutes walk from asda. Car park basically empty. Come back to find cars parked pretty close either side of me.

  10. Really starting to p*** me off the amount of dings I'm finding down the side of my Zed! I noticed one last month which was annoying. Now I've just discovered a further 3! Makes me think some people just do it on purpose out of sheer jealousy. As most of the time ill park out of the way on my own or ill try get an end space. F****** idiots. Rant over :)

  11. Think this guy is pretty genuine (good feedback) just naive . :scare: :scare:

I think he is genuine but his conditions match what these dodgy fake buyers are offering to do. So If anything it's him that needs to be more careful :scare:

  12. Seems like he worried about having cash. If you pay by PayPal and there is something

wrong with the car you can open a dispute with PayPal and they wont release the funds to him

so he's better off with cash, taking a bigger risk using PayPal, open a dispute and keep the car.. :scare: :scare:

I would be wary - Their is a well known scam where the seller requests that the sale only be undertaken through paypal and that a courier would collect the car. They have asked no details about the car other than agreeing to pay the full price. - I will try and dig out some details.

I had this when selling my two previous cars. I had about 3-4 different people saying they were interested in which I replied to. I then got an instant email back which was clearly automated in very bad English. Basically every reply said something in the region of how they would like to pay the full amount via PayPal - A courier would come collect - No need to view as they trust my description is correct. As soon as I had taken my email address off the advert I then had no further bother.
