  1. So, I got a bit carried away on payday and ordered some HSD DualTech's from Driftworks. Got them delivered to my local DPD depot and picked them up after work yesterday. The unboxing! No during photos, but this was the outcome... I'll get some better photos once I've given it a clean, possibly tomorrow!
  2. Attempted this at the weekend... Little tip for those who don't wish to ruin their ovens; a cardboard box and heatgun make a great makeshift oven! Ensure you check it every 15/20 seconds, gets surprisingly hot, very quickly!
  3. Woke up bright and early, watched the qualifying and then decided I'd get on with removing my rear fog... Removing the bumper was relatively easy.. I came up with a little trick for those who don't wish to receive an earful for ruining their Mum/Wife's ovens A cardboard box & heatgun = homemade oven! Started with this Finished with this Fitted to the car
  4. Thanks bud! Impressive huh Bulletproof Z! You do indeed, was very cheeky until the primary turbo blew up last weekend Thanks mate!
  5. Thanks bud! I think there are actually two shades of WV2, so I'd imagine that it's just been sprayed the wrong shade... Can't wait to get it all resprayed, hating having no badge on the front at the mo!
  6. Looks great, loving the polished plenum... I'll have to do that eventually! You should definitely sell me your wheels if you're thinking of buying new ones
  7. Nice pictures! Where in Surrey are you based?
  8. A friend of mine uploaded a few more pictures last night... Cannot wait to get the front and rear bumpers done, the colour match on the front one is awful at the moment! Plans for the beginning of next month: - Front bumper smoothed and resprayed - Rear bumper resprayed - Start saving for coilovers
  9. Completely agree with nowhereboy, my old B18'd civic coupe felt a lot quicker than the Zed, but in reality it's no where near as fast. Its a different kind of speed, I have no idea how fast I'm going in the Zed (without looking) whereas I could always judge it in my old car.
  10. I made a spur of the moment purchase today... JDM rear bumper! Needs a paint, so I'll get that done come next payday.
  11. It looks great! I've noticed it a lot! If you ever need any Z help there's plenty of us around the general area Good to hear! Cheers dude, I'll keep that in mind. On a unrelated note, I de-wipered the rear this morning, then gave her a good clean, these were the results...
  12. Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I'm based in Crawley, near Gatwick but the new owner lives in Woking. Small world! How's it looking? No dents I hope! Thanks bud! For the moment, I just want to get used to it.. I've ordered a new Nissan badge for the front (not a fan of the "Z"). I've also ordered a stubby aerial and my next task is to get my private plate put on, so just small things for the moment. Coilovers will be the first thing on my "proper" mod list though... As promised, a few pictures from the sale ad...
  13. Where do I start? I've finally moved over from the Honda scene, this is my old B18'd EJ6 Coupe. Bought it back in 2010 and built it up to this... Having owned and abused an old Honda for just over 3 years, I felt it was time buy something a little newer and more refined. Naturally, I wanted more power and I'd also decided that I wanted something RWD. I toyed with the idea of an S14a for a few months, before narrowing down my criteria to something newer than the late 90's. That left me with a handful of options, most of these being way above my price range. At this point, the 350z seemed to tick all the boxes, so I started looking for a pre '56 plate, in either Kuro black or Azure blue with black leather interior. Over a period of a month or so, I went to see 2 or 3 that were advertised as being "perfect", all with shocking exteriors. Realising that I'd be in with a task finding one with immaculate bodywork, I started looking at other colours... Which is when I found mine, '54 plate, GT, Gunmetal Grey with Alzean Leather and all the optional extras. Freshly refurbished alloys, Machine polished and a full Nissan service history. The car is absolutely mint, the only thing I've found wrong so far is a pin head sized paint chip in the roof. I only have one shitty Instagram picture currently, but I'll upload the sale ad pictures once I'm home! I'm loving it so far More pictures to come at the weekend!
  14. Ideally, pre 56 plate so the tax isn't bonkers!
  15. Sorry, feel free to move if necessary!
  16. Hi guys, I'm after some advice from you existing Zed owners, if possible! Having recently sold my Civic, i'm now on the hunt for a Zed around the £8000 mark. Ideally i'd like one in Kuro Black or Azure Blue, GT, Black Leather, less than 65,000 miles, preferably with mint bodywork. I've been to see a few around the 8k mark and the bodywork on all of them has been appauling. Am I being unrealistic with my budget?
  17. Oh hai Looking forward to seeing what you do with this Joe. The EG was awesome..
  18. Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I'll keep you updated with my seach for a Zed!
  19. Hi guys, my name is Rob, I'm a newcomer to forum and will be in the market for a 350z in the New Year. I currently own a 1999 B18 swapped Honda Civic Coupe. After owning and meticulously modifying for 3 long years, it's time to move onwards and upwards to something a bit more comfy and refined. Build thread below if anyone is interseted in their Hondas.. http://www.civiclife.net/board/topic/89471-robs-b18d-ebp-ej6/ Having decided I wanted something slightly newer, something that I could live with everyday and most importantly RWD, the 350z fit those criteria perfeclty. I popped up to see Greg at Tradelink on Saturday who was kind enough to let me test drive one of the cars he has in at the moment. Highly knowledgeable guy, defintely worth the trip up! Anyway, I'll stop rambling and let you all know when I actually have a Zed
