  1. Feel totally annoyed for u mate, I think we should gather a load of zeds and park right in front of their house to p*ss him off lol.

And get them all keyed....count me out of that one

😄 don't worry, we'll all hide behind a tree and catch him in the act.. I'm sure it'll make him think twice if theirs loads off the same cars right outside his front door lol.

  2. This is on my list of things to do. couple of other things to do first .I'm not even thinking about bhp increases more about optimum performance of the engine . I believe that the ecu in standard form only gives 80% throttle in first second and third gear I would like my butterfly to open 100% in all gears .eny idea how much this would be in total

no you get 100% in every gear but just throttle sensativty in the first 3 gears is different

Out of curiosity is the remap on lower gears similar/same effect as those electronic throttle controller devises where it has different speed settings (sp1-7) to change the throttle sensitivity? Thanks

  3. really am thinking to try this as an option, anyone know of a trusted/forum garage that would do this ?

Abbey Motorsport replaced the seals on both my rocker covers over a year ago. I assume the kit they use will be pretty similar to this one.

All clean and oil free ever since so if done properly it does work and massively cheaper than replacement RCs.

Thanks for the reply mate. Sounds good that it worked out. Can you remember how much it cost you to replace the seals on the rockers so I know what price labour etc to look out for? :)

  4. Thanks for the advice and directions to ask..ðŸ‘😊

Quick question is for anyone that has one/knows, is the n2 a much bigger than the n1 as it's slightly difficult to guess via pictures? Thanks :)

  5. Also just noticed you said the back isn't working either but you can hear the motor going.

I know there is a non return valve for that one as well but not sure where that is sorry.

The non return valve for the rear may have failed too or could even be a pipe come off or could just be blocked so I'd try to get the fronts fixed first then investigate the rear one further. One problem at a time as they say. ;)

Yea I'll solve one at a time first 😄ðŸ‘

My guess is the white part is the non return valve ? :)

  6. Nah, I haven't had any problems at all.

Yeh, just returns to standard. Will only take a couple of minutes to remove if needed.

Forgot to mention, my car hasn't had an uprev and probably never will which is the reason I bought one of these . If you have already had yours done then i'm not sure if it makes much difference, there were many debates on this when I looked. If you haven't/aren't going to get an uprev then the debates are irrelevant.

I was thinking to get this for now and maybe then get an uprev later on with other mods on. Is there a noticeable difference with the throttle controller on?

  7. Hi mate,

I bought one of these a while ago now. Good fun when you first get it and are testing the different SP levels on the straights etc. I don't really change mine now tho, usually leave it in SP3 mode which just makes the car feel more lively and IMO how it should be as standard.

Its dead easy to fit. I wired mine through to the change compartment next to the heated seat buttons so its out of sight but easily accessible.

So I'd say if you've got £100 burning a hole in your pocket then get one as you will enjoy it. If your lucky you might find someone selling one on here.

    Enjoy :)

Thanks for the reply mate. Yea was thinking to get one. Have you encountered any problems since owning it?

Also, I assume that once you just remove it the car just returns to normal as it was before fitting?

  8. Get someone else to use the front windscreen washers so you can stand near the front drivers side wheel arch & listen to see if you can hear the pump working or not first imo.

If you can't hear the pump working and the rear windscreen wash works fine then more than likely the motors had it & will need replacing. Clark Motorsport on here sell them fairly cheap or as others have said Europarts or similar will do to.

If you can hear the pump working then the non return valve underneath the front windscreen scuttle may be blocked or have failed (common issue too). Easily replaced but best thing to do is just to remove it completely & replace with a straight through piece of pipe. More info here: http://www.350z-uk.c...-washer-tubing/

Another related topic although there are loads more if you search ;) : http://www.350z-uk.c...en-washer-pump/

Thanks for the info. I can hear the motor working when pressed for front and back but neither have washer fluid coming out.

Where is the no return valve (apologies if this is obvious)? Thanks
