  1. Not long finished breaking bad for the second time round, also enjoyed better call Saul. Most recently I binge watched falling skies and z nation also orange is the new black was quite entertaining. Next to watch I think will probably be stranger things or game of thrones obviously after I've got my fix of motoring shows ;)

  2. I was going to ask you what model it is exactly Andy but just spotted it in your signature.

Know nothing about these, ...why'd you go for a diesel then?

    Looks smart.

    Cheers GM,

It feels fairly nippy and is very easy and cost effective to increase power - a remap can add a decent hp & torque increase but best of all I can get around 50mpg and the tax is only £130 a year :)

  3. For as long as I can remember one of my goals in life has been to complete my full body suit tattoo, I'm pretty well covered from my head to my feet, I started many years ago when I was too young but looked old enough lol. I would consider myself heavily tattooed, I have a Japanese style dragon spiralling round my right leg from my toes to my upper thigh, my left leg from my foot up to and including my buttocks is covered with multiple koi, both arms are sleeved with various designs, my head, neck and torso are also quite heavily tattooed but more on that later, I'm still very much a work in progress as over the years there has been lots of rework, re colouring, re lining etc. I'm currently in the process of getting my head, neck and torso lasered and I can confirm laser removal really really hurts. The lasering is not to remove the existing tattoos but to lighten them enough so that I can get them re tattooed/covered as they were done many years ago and have not aged as well as I would have liked and some of the work which seemed OK at the time is not up to the standards that I want and I feel the pigments and the ability and variety of artists are now by far superior to what was available all those years ago. Finances permitting and of course my ability to handle the pain of the lasering I should hopefully fade my head, neck and torso enough to start getting re tattooed around this time next year ( I'm currently doing weekly laser sessions) no pics at the moment as I want to wait to reveal the "finished" me when I'm nearer to completion :)

  4. Exec you should add a "poll" to this, maybe something along the lines of....

    • Still own a Zed.
    • Do not own a Zed but plan to soon.
    • Sold my Zed & now drive something different but love this place.
    • Cannot drive, am a troll.

    Just an idea. :teeth:

Oh and not everyone likes car forums or forums in general so I imagine there are a lot of Zed owners who don't belong to any forums.

Possibly I could tick maybe 3 out of the 4 options

  5. Used them a couple of times, passed info on to a couple of workmates and they've used them too. Products are top quality, delivery is priced well but takes around a week from order to doorstep, so no next day delivery unfortunately

If you're still using nicotine the best value high quality I've used so far is from here

    http://thee-cigshop.co.uk/DIY/Nicotine

I usually buy the half litre 72mg in vg for £28 and decant into 100ml bottles and store it in the freezer :)

each 100ml bottle lasts me around 3 or 4 months at the strength I dilute it to

  6. ^^^ Dragons blood sounds very nice, may have to give that a go

Most of my concentrates come from either justvape247.co.uk or vapourdepot.com or theecigshop.co.uk

    My current favourites are

unicorn milk clone(or a variation of, currently have 3 versions on the go, recipe listed in an earlier post)

    Vimto

    Vanilla custard (Capella v1)

    Extreme ice (menthol)

    Rhubarb crumble

and I'm just trying out tuiti fruiti which is very citrusy and a refreshing change from cream/dessert flavours

I've recently started using a company called darrant chemicals for my vg/pg they are very reasonable

    :)

  7. Unicorn milk recipe, all flavour concentrates are Capella

    Butter cream 1.5%

    Graham cracker 1%

    New York cheesecake 1%

Bavarian cream or sweet cream 1.5%

    Sweet strawberry 8.5%

    Vanilla bean ice cream 1.5%

    Vanilla custard v1 3%

Total 18% flavour concentrate, I like to mix mine @60/40 vg/pg with 3mg nicotine and leave to steep for at least a month, it really is delicious

I've also done a couple of variations which are equally nice but slightly different

    Unicorn v2 100ml 20% flavour with 3ml marshmallow @3mg 60/40

    Vg 55.8ml

    Pg 20ml

Nic 4.2ml using 72mg nicotine concentrate (vg)

    Butter cream 1.5ml

    Marshmallow 3ml

NY cheesecake 1 - replace with marshmallow 1ml

    Sweet cream 1.5ml

    Sweet strawberry 8.5ml

    Vanilla bean icecream 1.5ml

    V1 custard 3ml

    Unicorn v3 100ml 20% flavour with 3ml cake batter @3mg 60/40

    Vg 55.8ml

    Pg 22ml

Nic 4.2ml using 72mg nicotine concentrate (vg)

    Butter cream 1.5ml

    Cake batter 3ml

NY cheesecake 1 - replace with cake batter 1ml

    Sweet cream 1.5ml

    Sweet strawberry 8.5ml

    Vanilla bean icecream 1.5ml

    V1 custard 3ml

    :)

  8. One of my current favourites just now is a copy of cuttwood unicorn milk, it's a very smooth creamy dessert flavour, only downside to it is the waiting time, it's one that needs at least 4 weeks minimum steeping but when it's ready it's amazing mmmmmmm

I'll post the recipe if anyone wants it

  9. Up in York for work and was hunting round for a vape shop

Found a little one. Really nice place.

Loads of USA juices. Prices though, £50 for 60ml.

    Some cool mods and drippers.

    Ended up buying these.

I used to like the USA premium eliquids, elements was a regular for me but the prices run a tad high especially if you can guzzle through up to 20mls a day like I do, that's why I got into diy, there are some great recipes out there and it's certainly easier on the pocket, I think I could probably make best part of a litre of ejuice for around the £50 mark :)

  10. @HaydnH what squonker are you using, I just got into squonking, I bought a kanger dripbox but didn't like the rda that came with it so I use a velocity v2 instead (comes with a drilled out centre pin) definitely enjoying squonking but would like to upgrade to a better mod, any suggestions :)

  11. ^^^ agree totally HaydnH, always vape safe, steam engine is a very good/helpful app

Never had any problems with any of my mechs, but there are a few "scare stories" around Internet

I like to stay above 0.2 ohm on my single cell mechs, always use decent high drain batteries such as Samsung 25r or Sony vtc4 or vtc5, an ohm meter is also a good to have if you build your own coils, the calculations to work out your amp draw & wattage are very simple

Amps = volts (a fully charged 18650 is 4.2v) divided by resistance of your coil

Watts = amps multiplied by volts

eg a coil with a resistance of 0.5ohm on a mech with a fully charged 18650 will pull 8.4 amps and 35watts

With a little practice mech's and rebuildable rta/rda's can be a very rewarding & satisfying way to vape :)

  12. Anybody on Mechanical mods yet?

Be good to discuss with someone who has done all the research  I've done lots, but need some more before I go out and buy one.

I like to have a change from my usual regulated + tank set up so I use my mechs quite often with my drippers, either nemesis, stingray or Smpl coupled with either a Mephisto or 13 heavens rda are my current favourites, with a dual coil at around 0.3ohm they give great flavour and vapour, I like the simplicity and the small form factor :)

  13. Right guys need some help.

I'm currently running the smok tfv4 with the X cube II but I'm wanting something else.

I'm in love with the tfv4 with the dual Clapton coil but the mod is just to big and bulky. I'm only ever vaping at 60w really so nothing massive as I'm not a massive cloud chaser just love the flavour.

So what mods do people suggest as an alternative?

Joyetech cuboid is a compact (pocket friendly) dual battery mod that would comfortably accommodate your tfv4, I've been using this daily at work with a Uwell crown, plenty of battery life, lasts around 2 days between charges vaping at 50 watts

  14. Very interesting, I like the the idea of 10ml capacity. How does the single 18650 last out, do you get a full day between charges ?

It depends what resistance you make the coil and how much you vape, I build to about 0.25Ohms and almost get a full day out of a battery, but I don't mind having a couple of spares in my pocket in a little case. I switched to a squonker from a dripper as my fiancee was going mad about me having to top up every few minutes, wish I'd switched years ago.

I may well get me one of these as I liked my rda but got fed up of having to keep topping up every few tokes and quite often I'd forget to redrip and end up burning my cotton so I've been using crown tanks for a while but that squonker does look appealing

  15. Hi all, so I've kicked the cigs and have been using the vype esticks.

I have after much research decided on upgrading to the kangertech sub box mini as it ticks all the boxes.

My question: Which online stores are best for price and trusted to be selling the genuine item.

There's quite a few out there and I wondered if there are any you guys have used and can recommend.

    Thanks

Congratulations on kicking the ciggies

As you say there are loads of vape shops online, the ones I regularly use are ukecigstore, Sr-vapes, myepack and Ecigone. They vary in price so I switch between them depending which has the best offers at any given time, they are all reasonably stocked and I've always received 1st class service, quick delivery and good communication so I'd happily vouch for them :)

However if you don't mind waiting for delivery (sometimes up to 5 or 6 weeks) then gearbest are extremely cheap for lots of vape gear
