Not all the ones I’ve seen and certainly didn’t on mine was Bridgestone S001
-
If it’s on the standard bridgestones from the factory that will probably be what’s causing it. I found they didn’t like the cold weather much at all. All swapped for mpss now and feels much better.

Luckily for me I live in Scotland where the insurance seems to be considerably lower. I’m 23, 6 years no claims and I’m £450 on a 65 plate Nismo.

Sunday 19th is good for me. I’m open as to where we could meet.
-
I’m off for the next couple of weeks so would be up for it anytime...apart from next Saturday as I’m at the rugby.
-
I’d certainly be up for a meet if others are. I’m in Kirkcaldy.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Tyre pressures are all 35. New tyres are going on at the weekend so will get tracking done then and hopefully that cures if.
-
I recently got the tracking done on my car as I was the nearside front tyre was wearing a lot more than the offside.
A few weeks later and the car seems to be pulling to the left of the steering wheel is dead straight.
Speaking to another nismo owner the other day and he has the same problem with the front nearside wearing considerably more.
New MPSS are going on next weekend however I was just wondering if anyone had experienced anything similar or if this could just be down to uneven tyre wear.

I know this has been raised before however I though I had the solution that there were still pilot super sports available in 245/40/19 however when I checked today I can't find them anywhere.
The tyre sizes needed are 245/40/19 fronts and 285/35/19 rears.
I don't really fancy dropping to a 35 and 30 profile.
What are the suggestions?
Or would using 245/40/19 mps4 on the front and 285/35/19 mps4s on the rear work?
Any helps much appreciated as after a trackday today they are in desperate need of being replaced.

It is all about fun on the AFN track events, however watch out for John Allan as he is a tool as he thinks that he is another Lewis Hamilton.
You can pass on my comments and have a chuckle at the same time.
If you get to 61 on a clear track, I will be impressed.
Have fun and keep safe.
Well I have to say it was an extremely fun day.
Didn't quite reach a 61 but 62.52 wasn't too shabby for my first time at knockhill.

Clearly the nightshift brain hasn't passed yet.
Think I'd have to be driving the world faster 370z to try and beat that time however I'm sure it will be fun trying to get relatively close haha!
-
Just wondering if anyone else has been invited and is attending the track day tomorrow at knockhill organised by Alex F Noble?
-
I realy want a set but would have to drop the profile on the front to 35 instead of 40
Any idea if there's any plans for different sizes
I'm in the same boat as yourself but what I've read is that additional sizes are due to be released march 2018. Until then it will be mpss for me as well.

I'll take the filters. PM on it way.

Maybe the clutch fork has come off the pivot ball clip or the bearing has come off the clutch fork. It's easy to knock the clutch fork when re-fitting the gearbox onto the engine.
Hmm, if this was the case would the clutch fork be loose / movable by hand?
I had the same issue when fitting its on my old car. Ewen had accidentally sent an HR kit instead of DE. He sent the correct one and I returned the HR worked perfectly.
I hope that's not the case, the garage have just spent the day taking the gearbox off and refitting it - do you know how I can confirm whether it is the DE or HR version? I don't believe it said on the box itself.
Edit: I can see I've been charged for the correct version as the HR version is more expensive:
KNI25525-1A - DE (Mine) - £792
I'm assuming this code will be on the box, so I can check that in the morning.
I was charged for the correct part as well. Just check the code in the morning to make sure it's not something as simple as the wrong part.

Cheers mate will look into it!

Unfortunately not fronts are 245/40/19 and rears 285/35/19. Other 19" sizes are due to be released but not until 2018.

So it's tyre time for my 370 nismo however I'm wondering what to put on. Choice is either mpss all round or mps4s on rear and mps4 on front as Michelin don't make mps4s in the correct sizes. Thoughts?

I've never won anything personally but a friend of mine won a mini a couple of years ago so it can happen

They come with power folding mirrors just like the 350 you have to push the button on the driver door. My mats and thick boot mat were all included.

Called today after receiving my renewal from my previous insurer just to see if it could be beaten however was told that due to being 23 I could not be insured as I was too young.
-
Not all S001's are run flats. Certainly the ones of my nismo aren't.
Tramlining feeling like driving on ice!!

Most likely. I had the alignment done on mine 6 months after I bough it as I had booked a track day and it was way out so might be worth checking. Otherwise I’ve had no problems with it at all.
