How do you mean flat back? I did it all using one piece. Only tip I have is either get a extra pair of hands to help and plenty of heat on the wrap makes it easy to apply

That's why I did the handbrake cause it was all scuffed. I would defenlty attempt it your self its quite forgiving with heat

Dipped defiantly looks better quality but wrapped it a lot cheaper and if carbon isn't your style just go gloss black or alcantara

That's where I started but quick way to cover scratches and scrapes

Looked into hydro dipping but quite expensive, then looked into spraying the interior but primer,paint then laqure gets expensive so in the end bought 1mt by 1mt 4d carbon wrap for £10 and thought all have a crack then if I don't like it just peel off, here are the results (couple of creases but not bad for a first effort) Not as glossy as hydro dip but still better than the dull grey plastic not diy task alcantara dash lining

Alcantara dash looks the way forward to lose the cheap plastic look

I think they might be kei racing d1 as stevoD said after a Google search just need to find some centre caps for them now

Maybe but it says 03-05 350z and would of thought they would be a universal size all double dins, has no about else has this drama, I might try to fabricate my own but don't want it to look messy

Just done a quick bit of research and it seems most Chinese DD are 177/178mm wide so why is it I can't get mine to fit?

How did you get on with fitting, did you need a different facia and did it fit flush to the dash

Made the mistake this week of buying a cheap new head unit, it was a all singing all dancing Chinese piece of crap, I had one a few years ago in my Evo 7 and it was good for the money so took the plunge again on this one, http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/291152832577?nav=WATCHING_ENDED Payed for it and ordered a new ISO adaptor it came in a couple of days went to fit it and it was to wide for the OEM facia, so went on line again and orders this http://m.ebay.co.uk/orderDetails?itemId=351068165121&txnId=564982387022 So again went to rip my dash out to fit it and low and behold it still doesn't fit so after a angry email to them I will be getting a refund due to it not being a able to fit a double din hole, my question is ve now seen this http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/171308529210?nav=WATCHING_ACTIVE Will this fit the facia ve bought correctly with out me cutting it?

I just sold my M3 for a zed, I used at my motoway/long journey car it ate the mile and easy did 36mpg on a run. But always in the back of your mind if this goes wrong may have to re-morgage my house (lucky nothing did)

I found the m3 a more relaxing place to be it sort of drove its self unlike the 350z I find is more a drivers car, no not from Swansea from the north west

As the title say new to the 350z world, and loving it so far, not much different in speed compared to the M3 but a lot more fun to drive, just need to sort out the reason why the drivers window doesn't want to open 8 out of 10 times
