the air bag light is nothing to worry about, maybe see if you have a member close by with a code reader to make sure it isn't something more serious but 9 times out of 10 is the connections under the passenger seat
Turn iginition on wait for air bag light to turn on, turn key off
Turn iginition on wait for air bag light to turn on, turn key off
Turn iginition on wait for air bag light to turn on, turn key off
Turn iginition on wait for air bag light to turn on, turn key off
Start car and it should come on for 6 seconds and then should stay off.
Hi
Just to say thanks guys, the flasher has gone í ½í¸! Happy Days

Okay, thanks. Should I try the reset suggested on here first?
Then I'll check under seat (that's what I call a 'blue job', so I'll get the man in my life to do that bit!!). The that gives him bonus points to allow him to drive (cunning plan!).
Thanks

http://www.usgarage.co.uk/s-h-o-p/4576349056/CLEAN-AND-REPAIR/5787616 this Shining Monkey Clean and Repair is amazing, it has taken so many scratches out of my paintwork and even rescued my headlights. Highly recommend it
And also, you don't need much at all. It goes a really long way.
Just placed my order (ordered the wash as well as nearly out of AutoGylm one).
Thanks guys.

Sorry about your issues BUT please don't use "TCut" to try and remove scratches! Try something like Meguirs scratch remover or visit someone who has a polishing machine and see if they can be "detailed" out. TCut is Satan's face cream!
David
Thanks for the advice. I'll hunt down your suggestions and pinky promise not to use Tcut

Hi All
I've had my beautiful 350z for not quite 3 weeks and I think I must be having a bad week, or someone has it in for me!
On Tuesday there had been an accident near my work. Avoided as much glass as possible but possibly have a slow puncture now as rear tyre went down to 9psi!! Keep checking last few days and so far, so good.
Yesterday's incident was more scary. I was on the dual carriageway, in the outside lane. On the inside is a Range Rover with a trailer on the back, suddenly some dinner plate size of black rubber bounces on Tarmac, bounces off my bonnet and onto windscreen! I actually think I shut my eyes for a second as the noise was horrific and it was right in front on my face. Thankfully it didn't break windscreen, but I have a dent on bonnet and some scratches. I'm surprised it didn't smash my face in to be honest, so trying to think of it as a lucky escape....but of course I'm more concerned about the car bonnet. I washed the car last night (yes in the dark with a spotlight!!) and I think it'll get away with having the dent done and scratches may tcut out if I'm lucky.
This morning, turn engine on and passenger airbag light is ruddy flashing! So found potential fix on here and will try that at the weekend.
......I think that's my 3 lots of bad luck ticked for a while (I hope!).
Here's to a better week next week please!

I took delivery of her today. My other half, Robin, drove her back from Luton.
I felt sick and had to just sit and stare at the steering wheel like a Muppet for 10 minutes before I plucked up the courage to drive her (never spend more than £4k on a car before!). I'm in luuuurve, what a drive. Even my Dad (very hard to please, always was in different to my choice of my Jap import cars...even though he's the one that made me a petrol head Girlie by taking me Bangor a Racing at the age of 4!!) loved it and is now jealous.
I want to come to a meet soon as I want to hear some Grrr Exhausts as I like to hear the V6, so I'll hunt down a South East meet for us.
Can't wait to be part of this Z life!
-
P.S. The dealer went out with my missus to let her have a drive and when they came back he said that she drove quicker than me!!
Something my other half can also relate to! I bought my first Z this weekend, haven't got her yet, but already he's asking when and for how kong he's allowed to drive it!

Hi all
I fell in love and bought her! Fabulous condition car. Nearly new Bridgestone tyres all round as well. Drives like a dream and the hood is in very good condition.
Did all the HPI checks and all good. Just waiting for the V5 docs to all come back as it's coming off the private plate and then I hope to collect next wknd. I'll likely change her exhaust to something with a bit more grrrrr, as I'm used to a Powerflow on my FTO, I like to hear the V6 (told you I'm a girlie petrol head!)
Shame we can't drive it to Brands Hatch for Touring Cars on Sunday. So the FTO will get her final drive out instead.
Thanks guys for all your help. We hope to come to a meet, so I'll keep an eye out for South East ones.

I'm going to see the car on Friday. I am not excited, I am NOT excited, I AM NOT EXCITED!!
Apparently it was owned by a Magistrate (not sure if that's good or bad). Going to check on P3 service (I'm guessing on here somewhere is what needs to have been done on that service?).
I'll keep you posted. Thanks again for the comments and welcome.

Oh if I'm allowed. Here's the link
http://bit.ly/GGm7Gb no one else is allowed it though!! Tee hee.
Dr Mr Bank Manager......!
My other half has said he'll come and see it with me if I can sort money!
Not to self...."don't get too excited"!!

Thanks guys.
It says 20060217 as Reg date. 1 owner. I get the impression from the other cars they sell that it's not one they really want in their possession! (£40k + cars!).
I can't tell if it's a GT model.
Is there any major device due around 40k miles? Last serviced in Feb at 42279 miles and now on 45000.
Off to speak to bank at lunchtime!
Thanks again

Hi all
I'm from Haywards Heath, West Sussex and currently own an FTO. Female 'petrol head', but thankfully my man fully understands and encourages my car love!
I've loved 350's for a long time and am constantly fighting the urge to just go and get one (really need to wait till next year for a loan to finish!). However I have a feeling my clutch is going and so even more tempted now (as much as I love my FTO that I've had for 4 years!)
I've spotted a 350z on @bay at a dealers in Leighton Buzzard. It's a black cabriolet (never thought I'd like a cabriolet!) that has 44k miles for an 2006 for £7995. As we've been looking for a while, I keep thinking that maybe this is too cheap. Any advice, good or bad and also whether or not to go for cabriolet.
Thanks for listening

Hiya
Does anyone know is the Nismo spoiler fits okay on a 06 plate (but 55 reg) Roadster?
Just checking before I put on my wishlist for a soon purchase! Common sense didn't kick in when I came home saying I want one and my man says you need to check cos of roadster!
Thanks
