Performance index i believe, basically the way the game classifies your car depending on the modifications you do.

For example the optimum PI we are looking to achieve is C500

Ekona, didnt seem that way at all fella, absolutely no offence taken.

Sarnie, my guess is your starting to modify engine first, i always go conversion backwards through the options as at C class its more about handling and braking than outright power in most circumstances. You also lose some PI by adding the forza wing and bumper as the game classes top speed higher than handling and this should drop you back into C class.

Ill upload the tune tomorow to the store after football and leave it unlocked so you can freely make changes as you please.

I thought that after i had wrote it all out to be honest, but this way at least it gives everyone a base to start from and you can then tweak towards your own preferences and see the stock stats also as theres nòthing worse than changing something and not remembering your original settings if it turns crap.

Ok, heres a pretty competitive tune for an ek9 in terms of my driving style, for others this may be a complete waste but feel free to give it a try.

CONVERSION - centrifugal supercharger and convert to rwd

AERO - forza front bumper, forza wing, chargespeed rear bumper, c-west skirts

TYRES - full race compound, BBS RE's although you can choose whatever you like at the end of the tune so long as it stays within the PI.

DRIVETRAIN - race transmission, race diff

HANDLING - race brakes, suspension, and both roll bars, full weight reduction

ENGINE - race supercharger

Now onto the tuning

TYRES - 27.5 / 27.5

GEARING - 3.70 final drive 3.95 / 2.75 / 2.13 / 1.66 / 1.39 / 1.18

ALIGNMENT - camber -1.0 / -1.2 toe 0.2 / -0.3 caster 5.7

ROLL BARS - 27.82 / 27.41

SPRiNGS - 700.8 / 635.4 and lower the fully

DAMPING - rebound 7.8 / 7.5 bump 3.8 / 3.5

AERO - full cornering front and rear

BRAKE - 51% / 165%

DIFF - 40% / 40%

Ill post a couple up when i get back later but on one condition your not allowed to be faster than me with it haha

Midlands car care, very highly recomended by many people i know and held in very high regard on detailing world.

Ek9 buddy, i made a different setup just for spa though as i was really struggling for speed down the straights, i managed to go from hitting about 131 top speed to 140 and the difference is brilliant, also its front drive instead of rear

Finally managed to get a decent lap from start to finish at spa 2:42.882

Got spa down to 2:44.340, annoying myself now just making the same silly mistakes keeping me out of the 2:43 range

Right, just attacked Laguna Seca with the GT86. Got a time of 1:39.744 after about 10 laps.

 

The car has 233bhp and weighs 1230kg. Not much done to it except fiddled with the gear ratio a little and changed the brake bias from 5:5 to 6:5 (F:R)

 

How does this compare with you guys?

That lap was using a mazda mx5 miata, 201hp 163lb/ft 2,006lbs.

I noticed one of those you mention on spa, after the first hairpin, as you jink onto the uphill you can go flat out and run over the hatch markings to the exit left without recieving a dirty lap.

Id imagine just a simple mistake buddy, great time aswell, will have a tweak of the car later and see if i can get near you.

I seemed to be treading water in the car I was using, switched, then instantly got decent times.

 

Little bit of a tweak and 5 laps later did that.

 

Had to turn it off then, had a massive headache and bad Forza claw !!

 

I know I can get through the Bus Stop quicker too but it always escapes me - Moar practice needed !!!

I always seem to oversteer badly through the 3 corners leading to the final straight, i reckon getting that smooth will save me around a second a lap.

I would love to know how people can be so fast on the game as on laguna seca i think a perfect lap would see me at around a 1.38.xxx and the fastest in the world was a 1.30.xxx it seems impossible to gain 8 seconds in such a short track.

I hadnt played forza in weeks, felt the lack of tracks really hindered the career modes, but having a good challenge brings back the enjoyment.

Same car then, will be interesting to see your ghost compare our lines see how different a similar time can look
