  1. Probably a daft question but are there any facilities available to allow people to wash and clean their cars.

Don't think I'm gonna get a chance to do it from now till Sunday

Pretty sure they have outside taps near the toilets (cold only) - bring your own bucket - most will have quick detailer to wipe over the cars on arrival Andy James and Humpy will have a full detailing kit tyre shine and numerous clothes in the boot the only difference is Humpy's will be in a bag that it takes 2 strong men to lift and Andy's will be organised in alphabetical order or size of bottle in his meticulously arranged boot.

Before anyone says That's harsh ask either of them if I'm lying :p

That puts my mind at ease.cannot wait now. 😁😁😁😁

Looking forward to seeing your car B)
  3. What Ebized said ^ some of the best money I spent on the Zed was for the day I spent with Colin, he was involved in the development of the Zed with Nissan for it;s launch in the UK. What he doesn't know about the way they handle isn't really worth knowing. Nice bloke too. You will come away with a far better understanding of the what the Zed can do together with enhanced theory that can be applied to any car.

  4. Took a trip down to Burgess Hill today for Zippyppoz (Steve) to wrap my front lip and roof in gloss black. I cannot recommend Steve's work highly enough, his attention to detail and care are outstanding. This is the 3rd time I've had wrapping carried out on my car and Steve is far and away the guy who cared the most about the finished article, it's probbaly got something to do with the fact that he owns a Zed. The front lip on my car has always proved problematical to wrap properly but Steve nailed it. He uses Avery vinyl by choice, as did the last company I used, it's hard to beleive that they both used the same product! Thanks Steve, much appreciated.

The picture doesn't do it justice, I'll take some better ones once it's been cleaned :)

We shall give them a good test next weekend - see if a MKII model is required :)

Thanks Chris and Bob from all the team, it's getting stuff done like this that saves so much aggravation, it's very much appreciated.

  8. @Graham: Tbh I don't believe for second that wasn't rigged to hell. Day before results his non-Corbyn supporting opponent just happens to get suspended? Yeah, okay.

Honestly, the unions make Russia look democratic and honest. The PLP should be completely seperate from them.

I hear you, they claim counting had already started but the result stands on 12% turnout, truly old Sovietesque.
  9. I note with interest that Unite, one of the Labour Party's biggest finacial contributors voted Mcluskey as leader again. For me that isn't the issue, the turn out was 12%, 12 feckin %!! nearly as bad as the London underground staff voting to bring London to a standstill on a small turn out. Just makes me angry when so few can affect so many others. Why don't people vote when they can and should there be a minimim level turn out to make the vote "real"? Rant over.

  10. I hope everyone has had their tickets emailed to them today.

If you haven't just check at what address you purchased them from as they will be sent there.

T14 is our spot and im guessing it will be at central location similar to last year and Trax before due to the mahoosive amount of Zeds we have in attendance!

Buster and I had a quick chat regarding the club flags. They are and have been amazing at many shows in the past but"We have a problem Huston",the spike won't poke down into tarmac!

Quick look on eBay and the flag manufacturers solution is a metal plate which sits under a car tyre with a bracket for the flag to slot into for the princely sum of £50 each!

Another call back from Buster an hour later. The Zed Shed team will be manufacturing bespoke tarmac club flag stands over the weekend! These guys are the best if you can find them.....

Booking myself into Dignitas May 1st if T14 is on lush green grass!

If it is I have brand new spikes :D
  11. Regarding the NHS, way to many chiefs and not enough indians. The lack of ground level staff has led to a reliance on agency cover. There is also a dire lack of new staff coming through and the ones that do become disenchanted very quickly. The working hours can be dire and many qualified staff look towards posts abroad or agencies to maximise income and aleviate stress. It has led to the NHS also becoming a mainstay for the only people willing to work for them being from overseas.

A vicious circle and there is no guarantee pumping more cash in is viable.

More private companies are now in the mix from ambulance provision to specialist departments.

I sub contract to one of them, you wouldn't believe the money that is wasted.
