  1. http://www.autobright.co.uk didn't realise the linky stuff isn't automatic.
  2. I use www.autobright.co.uk Excellent products and great service. They are always keen for photos of 'before' and 'after' their products.
  3. I know and it has entered my mind but then there is nothing stopping someone changing the colour back..? Hence my comment about vinyl. collectible...? Thanks Pete, age wise they are all 2005 So this one you think they are playing on the 'one owner' card a bit? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201310099190031/sort/default/usedcars/keywords/gt4/postcode/gl514tl/price-to/12000/make/nissan/page/1/model/350_z/radius/1501/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew?logcode=p compared to this http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201401161066396/sort/default/usedcars/keywords/gt4/postcode/gl514tl/price-to/12000/make/nissan/page/1/model/350_z/radius/1501/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew?logcode=p
  4. haha. got it in one. (plus it is limited edition which is a nice thing) colour change because I dont like yellow and black... I already have a black car - cant have two on the drive that are black. the issue is how much should I be paying for one in the first place?
  5. So after much deliberation and my finances looking in better shape now I am on the hunt for a GT4 but was wondering what you guys think is a sensible price to pay for one? Obviously I would pay more for going through a garage but need to know what is reasonable. The only other thing is, how frowned upon would it be for a respray? Maybe vinyl instead (can vinyl's be metallic?)? Are there any quirks that should be checked for on GT4 editions over and above the normal list? Cheers
  6. I guess the question is how long does it take for me to get my money sorted. applied for a loan previously to buy one and got refused but my car finance will be paid off 20/01/14 so if you still have it then.... Best of luck with the house purchase!!
  7. I would have had this if my loan didn't get turned down. Shame to see it still for sale.
  8. Hard to do damage with if you use the non-abrasive pads and polishes that is!
  9. Well you would never guess it - that's what my nephew calls me. I'm his only uncle and get I am still uncle Graham. Makes me smile so thought I would have it as a username. Plus 'Graham' is nearly always taken.
  10. haha. the really stupid thing is that this happened to me in my Mazda a couple of weeks back. Guess what colour my car is too...? Was it an old person driving by any chance?
  11. Cheers - Have been browsing the trades section and seeing some of the members cars for sale.. certainly worth keeping my eyes open on there. Interesting what you say about the insurance, I am guessing you are young? My first year driving I was with Admiral and every year since then they have been more expensive. I have had quotes of just under £390 for the year which seemed ok but having never had a 2nd car (albeit I have a track day car that isn't road legal). I will probably give the insurers on here a call when the time comes. Any common problems that I should be aware of?
  12. Hi everyone Just a quick hello as I am looking at getting a 'weekend car' to enjoy life a little. I am looking at getting a 2004 ish car that I would be lucky to clock up 5k miles a year but my questions are; as a 27 year old, plenty of no claims - who do you think would be the best insurers? Typically the best deals tend to be away from the comparison sites but I would rather phone round 3 or 4 rather than 10 or 20 Is there anything particular that I should be looking for on a UK spec car? I don't particularly want an import. Cheers all.
