  3. Thanks for all the advice and comments. After using her over the last few days I have realised I cannot bare to sell, and have decided to sell my daily instead for something cheaper to run. The Z has been awesome from day 1 and realising that nothing short of a GTR or mint E92 M3 will feel like an upgrade - both out of my price range for now, it seems the best option to keep on enjoying the car for a while longer 😊 Mods please lock ðŸ‘
  4. Still unsure on the awd as your right, the weight wouldn't be to much of a issue. Car remains at £14000 ovno however after meeting a few fellow Z members today and having a good run out in the car I have been reminded how much I love the car. Truely am torn at what to do 😕
  5. Why not start a "what car next" thread as everyone seems to love telling other people how to spend their money. Just put your budget & some of the essential criteria like performance, drive train, n# doors etc etc I know all the cars available as I have a problem with browsing cars for sale weather I'm looking to buy or not. Will have a look at rs4s again but got a feeling the weight would be to much!
  6. I like the rs4 - had a s4 a few years back and said if it had a better gearbox, diff and brakes it would be the perfect car. Only thing is the weight, it's considerably heavier than the evo so tracking it would feel a huge step back. Told my wife about the evo idea and she's as against it as everyone else I have mentioned it to! Looks like I will have to keep hunting.
  7. Thank you for the comments 😊 Siman350z I did them with a friend of mine who is really into detailing as I wanted to learn how to do it correctly! Unfortunatly after looking into it I have realised that the m3 will be expensive as a daily driver, insurance is higher and I could end up regretting it. I will still keep a eye out as if one comes up for a good price to keep a few ££ back should I need them. I'm going to test a few Evo X's next week as they seem like a ok alternative to the Z if you need back seats but I'm not a huge fan of turbo cars so we will see 👠.
  8. I have found a replacement (ifyou could call it that) so as long as the other car is available I will drop the price to £13000 for a quick sale if sold before the other car sells.

    That's quite a distance from me, I'm South East, and ideally I can really only collect locally u less it's close to the m11/a1m as I drive that way for work sometimes.

I appriciate your honesty Jay Kay 👠The truth is I knew it would be better to put some oem parts back on and advertise it lower, however I could not bring myself to do so and ruin what I have always felt was a perfect package! But now my mind is made up to sell I will be advertising some parts seperately first before lowering the price when it's back being almost stock. I will leave the thread up however in the meantime should someone want everything! Yes the price is almost 370 money but realistically with that budget you could maybe get a not so good example of a 370z or one of the best examples of a 350z 😉 With near enough similar power to!!
  12. OK my mind is made up on a replacement that has back seats so my advert will go live on Pistonheads later today. I am open to part ex on a e92 M3 or similar! I know many people regret selling these for a m3 but since I need a sensible car to take the kids in, that will also (hopefully) be enjoyable to drive then it seems like the best option. If I can get the full asking price I will include brand new front and rear eibach ARB's! 😊

  15. For sale is my absolute pride and joy, this phrase is thrown around in many for sale ads, however in this case, after my wife and kids, this car is the love of my life. She is a 2008 350z coupe with 36k miles on the clock, genuine pearl white from the factory, along with the factory fitted Nismo option. This was the closest the UK ever got to having a Nismo edition 350z, and to find a HR such as this is quite rare. She also has full Nissan service history, with any other work being carried out by Nissan specialists Abbey Motorsport. These guys will vouch for the car I am sure, they are a great bunch and I would encourage the new owner to pay them a visit should they need anything doing! She has all of the usual GT spec extras: Brembos Heated leather seats Xenon headlights Steering wheel audio controls Bose sound system Cruise control Bluetooth (not a usual extra) Then having the Factory Nismo pack, she also has the Nismo front and rear bumpers, with side skirts and spoiler. The Nismo induction kit makes a lovely sound, and although people say that open filters make slightly less power, the >1hp differance is more than compensated for by the engine note it produces with these! This one also benefits from the 19" Nismo LMGT4 Rays, which are immaculate as I will describe in more detail below, and are painted in Rays Bronze. These cars, in my opinion, need very few modifications, as they are amazing straight from the factory. I have however changed a few things that I felt needed upgrading to bring everything up to the same standard. These include: Brakes: As standard the Brembos are not to bad for road use, however with these cars being quite heavy, you will quickly experience brake fade even on the slowest of track days. With that in mind the first thing I did was change the fluid to Super Blue. The reason is that Nissan for some reason use the same fluid that they put into the micra, so with a big heavy car you boil that within no time. I also uprated the pads front and rear. The fronts are running Endless MX RS pads, which are the highest price I have ever paid for a set of pads (£400 shipped from Japan) but they are simply amazing, and whatever car I go for next, if it was to see any form of track day, these would be straight on. For those that are interested I have included a link here to read up on how great these really are: http://www.endlessusa.com/#!__brake-pads/mxrs - in a nutshell they work from road temperatures all the way along to high temps that would only be found from race pads. So you have the best of both worlds. The rear pads are almost new having replaced them a month ago, they are simply EBC yellowstuff which I have found to be a great pad for front or rear, but as the rears do a lot less work, I didn't feel the need to have endless pads on the rear to. Brake discs are OEM as I have not found the need to change these to uprated discs while running this pad/fluid combo. Engine & Exhaust: Aside from the Nismo induction kit, the engine I have left pretty much standard, it has been remapped at Abbey Motorsport using UpRev to get the most out of the engine. I feel that 320-330bhp was more than enough for me, and never found it lacked power. The exhaust is rather special, it was again yet another no expense spared decision, so I went for a Amuse R1 titanium duel exhaust. This is, again in my own opinion one of the nicest exhausts for any Japanese car, and it really transformed the exhaust tone. The beauty of these is that under low revs they are surprisingly quiet, so you can drive along and actually have a conversation with your passenger! I also added Berk decat pipes, which surprisingly do not fail emissions tests on MOT's!! Running Gear: This car has been absolutely faultless in my ownership over the last 3 years, the only thing that I have ever had to address has been clutch related! The clutch went soon after I bought her, so I had a JWT clutch and lightweight flywheel kit imported from the states, and fitted along with new fluids etc. The difference the lightweight flywheel makes is very impressive, the engine revs up a lot quicker. This coupled with the remapping that removes the 3 stage throttle sensor makes it feel more like a racing car to some degree! I have also had the slave cylinder replaced as that failed on me, this was a common problem so now it has been addressed and replaced for a newer unit, should not happen again. Interior: Inside the car is still very standard. The only thing I replaced was the headunit, for a Pioneer AppRadio MP3 unit. It is quite nice, as you can link your apps on your phone to it, to control them through the stereo screen. This unit also replaces the Nissan Bluetooth unit and is much better quality to. It connects any usb device to play MP3s and video etc. Pictures: As I stated earlier, this car is like a third child to me. It has wanted for absolutely nothing in my ownership, and the ONLY reason it is for sale is that my wife keeps badgering me that I never use it, and that it seems a waste to have it and that I should just keep to one car that I can drive daily, take the kids in etc. I had to admit to myself that I somewhat agree with her. The thing is, after buying this car I quickly developed a OCD where I cannot stand the car getting dirty or damaged. This means it never gets used in the wet, it never goes to any public car park, and being a 2 seater, and us having two kids, means that it only ever gets used to see friends if they have off street parking for me, or the occasional drive out when I have time, or the odd track day. It has been out twice when I was caught out in the rain, and to give you an idea of my OCD, when I got back, aside from the usual clean, it will be jacked up and I will clean underneith the car, including suspension components, brakes and calipers and exhaust. With regards to cleaning, it is washed after every single use, waxed after every other use unless I feel the urge to wax it again, and detailed once a year. (I don't fully trust cley bar but I know it needs to be done) The wheels are removed and washed every 3 washes or after any track day. They have been treated with Gtechniq C5 wheel armour, meaning that you only need to wash them with cold water and a sponge to get them immaculate again! Bad Points: I think any car that has been driven off a forecourt will have its bad points, luckily with this there is not to many. The rear bumper plastic has two small deformities in the plastic, like creases I guess you could call them, only 3 cm long each, no broken paint or anything, it was like this when I bought her and I wanted to have the rear bumper resprayed at some point. I was currently in the process of sourcing a reputable body shop to carry out the work. Also the old exhaust system that was on the car has heated up and scorched slightly underneath the rear bumper. This is not visible but as I mentioned I spend a lot of time cleaning the silly bits, I have tried and tried to get this out over the years with no luck - hence the respray wanted. There are also the odd few stone chips on the front bumper as with any car. Nothing to nasty but they are there all the same, and again I would ideally liked to have had this rectified but I realise from previous experience that having a front bumper resprayed to remove stone chips only makes the next lot of stone chips more infuriating! The interior is pretty immaculate which is rare for these cars since they chip so easily. When I was looking for the right Z I found so many that were chipped to buggery I knew I had to find one that wasn't. There are the odd few small marks inside but I would say that it is still better than 99% of other z's interiors. The Price is £14195 The price has been revised as I did some research in to current value and I had unfortunatly valued the car with my heart instead of my head 😓 The price is still negotiable, she can come with a oem y pipe back exhaust system instead of the Amuse. I am also in the process of acquiring some standard Ray's that can go on instead of the lmgt4s. I am in Bromley/Chislehurst which is boardering between Kent and London. As mentioned previously, this is only for sale as the wife keeps nagging me, so I am in no rush (if at all) to sell her. This means I will not accept silly low ball offers, and I will also not sell to just anybody, as the money is not important to me. It would absolutely break my heart to sell to some kid with no experience and a wad of cash, only to see him kill himself and the car wrapping it around a tree somewhere. I have decided to only advertise on the forum for the moment as I know most members here are decent, respectful people (a few not so much - not mentioning any names lol) but honestly would rather see it go to a fellow member, who will cherish her the way I have!   19. Still have this, with more damage unfortunatly to rear quarter due to lorry scraping down the side. Car still runs spot on but I have now been given a cheaper run around and could do with getting the money from this to go towards bike deposit 😄 Am open to sensible offers!

Just recieved my front and rear adjustable arb's today, and although I am happy to work out settings over time, I was wondering if anyone had tried all or at least a few of the possible combos for front and rear settings and could possibly comment on how they found each to be? Info on settings for track use would be even better still! Just wondering as might get an idea for a starting point for settings 😊
