  2. I may be in... Out of curiosity, what would you price a package for diffusers, front lip, rear spats and roof spoiler at?
  3. Just driving my z and had a noise over a few frets of what can only be described as sheeting metal from front roght.. the sort of noise upto us expect with metal on metal brakes... Doesn't seem to be any visible damage and brakes seem fine. Stopped as quick as it started.. Any ideas? (Worrying about this car is driving me insane)

So went to the memorial event for Paul Walker yesterday and thought what better time for some new shots of the Z. Took a few runs up the strip... first experience in a RWD car... the first i was up against an E46 m3.. nerves, inexperience in launching a rwd car and a damp track got me a sideways start and 16.9 second time. Next up was a great improvement with 15.4 and finally nailed 15.2... i reckon with a bit of practice and a dry track i'll be in the 14's! Anyway the pics... Spec list as it stands: LED Front, interior and rear number plate bulbs stubby arial Grooved discs & uprated pads front & rear K&N Panel filter HKS Rep cat-back exhaust system 20mm front 25mm rear Bimecc spacers 30mm Eibach Lowering springs Kumho ku39 rear tyres Toyo Proxy front tyres
  10. Yes tesco Royston. The orange one is from around that way, white & black from Stevenage
  11. i may take the LED ones.. if anyone dibs them before me np just need to have a look to see what i think...
  12. No they arent at the moment, I'll get them to sign up Jacks only had his for a few weeks (orange one) and the owner of the white one hasnt gotten around to it yet.

  15. thats my mate jacks car, he's not on here. I'll bang some pics up later in media section of mine his and another of our friends Z's together
  16. ok before i zip my flame suit to the max, i have searched the forum but cant find the exact answer im looking for hence starting a thread on a topic thats potentially been covered a billion times before. Right now im all zipped up, how serious is it? does having a clicky axel for whatever reason it actually is mean there is imminent doom headed my way. I bought my Z in August with a clicky rear axel and tbh, ive just ignored itand thought i'll get round to researching it a bit more in the future. Now im deciding to pa closer attention, is it something to be worried about? i explained the jist of whats needed to fix the problem (greasing most people recommend) to the workshop at work and they seemed to think the issue was more serious than one of just a quick lube up, which has got me a bit worried. so yea, is it a problem? should i be worried?
  17. Thanks for the great comments guys! Trying to keep on top of the dirt and keep it shines, cleaned it twice this week so far! Needs a polish though. Ill grab some more pics when the springs are fitted, just need to get round to it!
  18. A few updates since my last pics so as ive the week off, i decided to grab some fresh shots! Now with HKS style exhaust, 20/25mm spacers & CF Eyelids... Hope you enjoy! (Still not 100% sold on the eyelids but I think they'll suit it more once it has the splitter, side diffusers and rear spats)
  19. Going down past the football training ground duel carriage way today, gave me the thumbs up. Hello!

    Eyebrows

Just ordered some carbon finished ones myself. Never liked a car with eyebrows before but they do make a Z look a little more aggressive. And for £30 I can't complain if I don't like it!
  21. Personally if I was in your position looking for a cheap but decent looking set of wheels I would look at what calibre have to offer. They don't break the bank and have a good range of wheels to choose from. Calibre GT-R's are reasonable and look lovely on 350z's.
  22. Sorry GM missed your post ill get a price when I get back in to work tomorrow! Smallish update: decided next on the cards was suspension/stance, a little bit wary of coilovers I'm not sure they'd be suitable for the roads I use so sticking with springs for now, then if more lows are needed ill consider it.. Ordered a set of AP springs -30/-30 and Bimecc 20mm front 25mm rear hubcentric spacers! Ill grab some pics when they come through!
  23. Thanks Neo! The exhaust sounds great, really emphasises the burble of the V6 but when cruising isn't droney and overbearing, thanks to the twin loops. When you do put your foot down you get some complementary pops which is nice ill try get a vid up some point this week!
  24. Thought I should do a progress thread so if any one at all is interested they can have a look at the steps my cars taken, and also for my own benefit to! excuse some of the pics, I use an SLR and sometimes quick snaps with an iphone so if they look a bit iffy, blame instagram! So back in late july early august i found myself a 59,000 mile GT in black. Seemed to have decent history with lots of main dealer reciepts. Noticable changes from previous owners were upgraded grooved brakes and the rear strut bar wrapped in carbon fibre. She was also roking a set of Toyo Proxys. And here's how she looked just after i got her! I kept her as standard as she was for the first couple of months just to get a feel for the car, listen out for any odd noises etc. Working at R-Tec Auto design in st. albans has its benefits being able to give her a thorough look over after i took delivery for any area's that needed addressing! Thankfully nothing was found! Quick & easy changes were simple things such as LED rear number plate bulbs and LED sidelight bulbs, subtle but making her look fresh and get rid of the yellow-ness! Of course, a mandatory change to a stubby arial was also made. Not much changed for about a month but decided to grab a few more pics, while taking the pictures me and a friend had a hunt around the engine bay deciding whether to fit an induction kit or just replace the panel filter, but discovered it already had a k&n panel filter in place! Bonus! And then.... a box turned up. This came off And this went on... All fitted up... And that is as far as i have got so far! Current spec: 2004 GT Grooved discs & uprated pads K&N Panel Filter R-Tec Auto Design HKS Style twin-loop cat-back exhaust Toyo Proxy's Carbon Fibre wrapped rear strut bar LED Number plate bulbs LED Sidelight bulbs stubby arial Coming soon: 30mm Lowering on springs (undecided which brand) Nismo style front splitter Nismo style rear spats Tarmac sportz side diffusers Tinted whindows (dark smoke/light smoke combo) 19" alloys (undecided which yet) Undecided idea's: Fly eye front & rear lights - black R-Tec tubular manifolds Induction system (most likely k&n gen ii) Follow on instagram @Jehuty or the car #zizi04 Thankyou for reading.
