  1. hey guys, tempted to get some canards for my Z, but really undecided as its a pretty permanent thing to stick on and some seem good, some seem... a bit ropey. Anyone got any images of a black 350Z w/ nismo lip and canards?

    thanks in advance...

  2. Thanks for the positive replies guys, I'm very happy with her! Since fitting the wheels I've also added tpi polarised nuts to finish off with a bit of detail :)

Yes I am part of unlucky racing Steve

And as for more plans... Switching the 25mm spacers to the front and 20's on the rear to fine tune the fitment. Thinking of tinting the windows too but exterior wise that's about it.. Maybe a bumper tuck.

  3. A year ago i was looking to get my first jap car... a subaru impreza, it had to be standard... however impreza's being impreza's none were standard. So i shifted my attention to a stunning standard black 04 plate 350z i found at a local garage.

After steady additions of modifications 2 months ago i thought it was all over, a careless driver on a roundabout implanted her ford focus into the side and took out the door and rear quarter leaving over £2000 worth of damage. however it wasnt a write off and all was repaired.. and more additions were added including the final touches to body work and 19" split sized inovit speedys!.

    hope you enjoy!

  4. 3mm crush easily? No sence. If you're bolting up any wheel correctly to a spacer and it's a good quality spacer you should never be able to "crush" a 3mm spacer. Working in the wheel industry myself I've never heard of such a thing, and advising to use 5mm is also terrible advice. 5mm would cause a loss of adequate hun location and the weight of the vehicle therefore resting on the studs alone, one pot hole hit hard could see a serious accident. 3mm spacers are fine.

  5. Unfortunatly on the way home from work last Friday a lady wielding a ford focus on the outside lane if a roundabout impaled my 350z while attempting to go all the way round the roundabout in the outside lane while I was going straight on the inside lane (entering a duel carriage way with road markings indicating I was using the lane correctly)

Unfortunatly this has resulted in £2000 worth of damage to my 04 GT and it requires a new passenger door. I have to go through insurance although the focus driver insists my use of the roundabout is incorrect and here correct (clearly she knows not of the Highway Code, and is visually impaired for not being able to a. Read the road markings and b. see my not very subtle and quite loud 350z of which 50% was in front of her at time of impact.

Do we think its a write off? As stated needs a new door and significant damage to rear quarter and inside door shut..

On the plus side the tarmacsportz side diffuser survived the onslaught with not even a scratch!

  6. If anyone is local to stevenage, my group of friends (we call ourselves unlucky racing) are holding a little impromptu meet on tuesday evening. There will be a few Z's there and a few of our other cars, mostly performance based including Celica GT 4's, Fiesta ST's, Focus ST'S, 200SX's 300zx. Thought i'd post it on here to see if theres any interest as a few Z's will be there, all welcome and no intentions of anyone dicking about just nice weather some cars and a chat.

  7. I'm trying to keep it subtle yet noticeably different if that makes sence. Just recieved some nismo spats from keyser to finish the lower half of the body styling, got facelift style LED rear lights (full red) on order and the understandably marmite eyelids on their way too. Only other piece of bodywork I'm considering is a roof spoiler to finish things off then it's just all down to saving for some 19's!
