After owning my Zed for 2 months and promising myself to keep it standard(ish) I couldn't resist it any longer.. whilst I am getting older my brain is still under developed, I still build and modify my old Minis (still living in my teens I think) so I started on the 350 (this forum didn't help the itch)..First was was a plenum spacer from Wasso (thanks Ian lovely bit of quality British kit, but I didn't polish the plenum to match). Then decided to make my own velocity stack using a full radius ram pipe... had to trim the top of the pipe to clear the air box moulding but shouldn't affect flow too much. Next I made a filter using the standard replacement casing and bonding in a ramair filter foam and mesh (£12.50 cost). I did this not because I am a tight bugger I just like to make things myself..Most of the mods look pretty standard, going to do a cold air intake next to the air box.....more to come..

I've got one on mine, had it since April. They do sound gorgeous but they are a bit louder than I expected. I have thought about changing it for a milltek but it's too much money to loose.

Do you get any cabin noise from it on long drives, don't really want it to be intrusive when on the motorway but when comparing them on you tube it does sound nice.

Think you have to buy new valve covers complete, the plug seals are not removable. There is a lot on the USA forums about it and one company does seals that fit but you have to use a hole saw to cut out the plastic baffle inside the cover and silicone the new seals in. if you PM Alex I think he does the new covers.

Hi All, Had my 276 for 2 months with 67,000 miles now done 3000 miles on it over that period but have been a bit concerned as used getting on for 2ltrs of oil. It uses more oil than my old supercharged A series Mini. Looked at the US forums and can see it has been a big issue over there. I have done visual inspections and can only see a small leak in No.6 plug hole but not major yet. No sign of burning it either although I recently fitted a plenum spacer and the oil looked fairly fresh inside. Going to check the PCV valve and try a leak down test if I get time over the weekend.

Hi to All, Bought a UK 350 GT in Azure blue and factory Nismo kit 3 weeks ago and can't get enough of it :teeth:I have always been a self confessed classic Mini nut, restoring tuning supercharging etc etc and still have 3 of them but I can't stay away from the Zed....I was actually looking at Prodrive Alfa Brera's but saw the 350 and fell in love with it.glad I didn't get the Alfa.....tuning has started with a spacer kit from Wasso and Zmanalex sorting out a sat nav remote...everyone very helpful and friendly.............think I may be a convert....
