Very odd one here. sometimes i only seem to get sound from the right handside of my car. it seems very random. ive noticed under medium braking that the sound will come from both sides of speakers and also under steady moderate accelarating. It may be a loose wire but the set up is all completley standard and hasnt been touched to the best of my knowledge. Does anyone know where i should start looking in terms of how to repair this fault? Thanks Michael

Hello, I haven't. I've checked the discs and they weren't worn or pitted. I'll look at the pads on my lunch break. They do stop rather well. That's why I didn't look at the pads Thanks michael

As far as I'm aware everything is standard and I think that counts for the brakes too. I may take a video of it. It's very loud.

I just fancied giving the leather abut of a spruce up. Is there a manufacturer that does liquid leather in the altezan colour?

I understand what you're saying but mine don't squeak when they're cold it's when they're warm. It's very loud squeaking.

Hello all, Just picked up my 350z and the brakes squeak on soft braking and low speeds. problem is apparent with say inner city or town driving but not on high speed braking or braking the requires me to put abit more bite onto the discs. Ive had this problem previously with a set of brembos on DC5. i was wandering if there was a fix for this problem? As you can imagine its quite embarrassing! Thanks Michael

Congrats Let's see some pics then. So, what d'ya think in comparison to the TT? I'll get some up at some point this week. i need to give it a wash and polish The handling is day and night compared to the TT. Much better drive, was really impressed. My Zed doesnt have any mods so ill be hoping to rectify this soon. Just a quick question what is a pop charger? isit the same as an air filter or am i missing something lol. Also i hear alot about plenum spacers but im unaware what they are. Cheers !

It's official. Picked up a UK 350z with GT pack this morning

i had a look at one last week, on the description it promised so much but in reality it was a let down. It was completely unkept. He didnt even bother to wash or hoover the car. massive crack in the windshield, no paperwork. was a wasted journey! Im abit more optimistic about the one tonight. would of preferred to of bought a UK model but due to funds its very hard to find one with reasonable miles and options. The import im looking at has all the key parts from the GT Pack (bose, leather, heated seats etc..) is there any other real reason they seem to be frowned upon. Seen alot of adverts with UK MODEL! as if the import is completely inferior

I know what you mean, you hear horror stories everyday on TTF and i just thank god it was never my car. im glad to know that the 350z's are more reliable. Alot of the cars i have previously owned have been JDM imports so i know what you mean about having a car that feels exclusive. And a car mainly owned by enthuasiasts. i just hope i find the right one and soon as im in need of a car now that my TT has sold lol

I had a mk1 TT 225 running around 285bhp at stage 2. i love my jap cars tbh, i cant wait to be back in one and finally a Z car! The understeer in the TT made it quite boring around bends even with suspension mods

Hopefully with a purchase of a 350z (import) tomorrow i will be a part of this online community For my budget i have opted to get the slightly cheaper import model, i've done a few searches and seen the differences however the one that im going to look at tomorrow seems to be the equivalent of a GT Pack UK model. Im really excited about the prospect of owning one. i did have a look at a uk spec one last week but it was a bad example and left me thinking is the car i really want. however this morning ive seemed to of found a gem of an import. Im moving on from a TT running more or less exactly the same bhp, so it should be a seamless transition however im sure the power delivers will differ immensely. I have owned mainly jap or german cars ranging from dc5's, pulsar GTIR's to mk5 Gtis' and couple of bmw's. Im 26 from Herts and would like to say Hello!
