Bump!
-
That hasn't been the case.
Will look forward to taking the car to Nissan
-
Why would the reinstall them though?
Yes I bet he did. The car was nasty to drive
-
Well so far the car feels better but I suppose the front has a little catching up to do as far as the springs settled by down.
On another note, Nissan don't seem to be too concerned about the problem, but I can gaurentee they will be.
It's booked in at my local (not where purchased from) for an inspection.

How does the car feel now pal? Been sneakily watching this and was waiting for the transport blocks to get mentioned!
What was the garages excuse for this? Such a big nono
-
Hopefully the car settles down a little now, but I will be going to Nissan. I want extra warranty. All the front end will of been stressed
-
6 transport blocks. Couldn't believe it

Guess what I've found?

Do they put travel spacers in the rear springs too?
-
Company called AMF racing. Just had a new machine installed also. I'm based in Suffolk
-
It's booked in with a specialist.
-
Thanks everyone. I've booked the car in for geo.
The front end feels very sharp in the corners and slower speed.

Stock pressures. And Potenza isn't what you're after in terms of tyre type, it's the 050A bit after that.
Go and get an alignment done and then see how it feels.
What's the best pressures for these tires? I don't rate them at all, as soon as they have worn out the better
-
Check tyre pressures, as these could be way to high.
What's best to run?

I know, that's what was expected. Not a monster

Sounds like you have a bunch of toe out in the front if it even feels unstable in a straight line. Hit any kerbs a bit harder than intended with the front wheels recently? Anyway, I'd go with alignment first.
Well it doesn't look like the wheels have been refurbished, if they have it's been done well at least.

I didn't get a chance for a long test drive, it felt ok. As I had a 370 before I was expecting it to be similar but improved as it's a nismo.
My Nismo doesn't feel light or floaty at all so I'm pretty convinced it's not because it's a Nismo variant. The only problem I have is that I have no more value to add to your thread. Someone with some real help will come along soon I'm sure
I will check, you never know.
Thanks
-
Do you feel kind of 'disconnected' from what the car is doing?
Absolutely. Feels like it wants to chuck me off the road in a straight line.

Long shot. But have the spring transport pieces been removed.

I'd hope so the car has done 12k miles and been serviced twice at Nissan
-
Lets get the standard "what tyres have you got on?" Followed by the obligatory "what tread is left of them?" out of the way then.
Potenza's 6mm all round.
I've never driven a car with this feeling

Hi Guys,
My 2015 nismo isn't feeling very stable at all. I've only had the car 10 days.
The traction light seems very sensitive and the car seems very light and floaty at anything over 60.
I'm rather concerned and feel very unsettled driving the car fast.
The only reference I have is knowing what my old 370 was like.
I'm tempted to take it to Nissan as it's still in warranty
-
Four sets of 20mm
Well I don't have that many wheels thankfully.
Can you PM me make and price please
