  1. For a second I thought I saw a body underneath the passenger side of the EVO after it slid into the side road :scare:

    Was it just tyre debris?

So many comments on Liveleak on how unfortunate it was the EVO didn't crash.

I think it was really FORTUNATE and hopefully was the perfect experience to educate the driver to be more cautious and realise nomatter how good the car he is not invincible.

Hopefully a life changing experience the driver will never forget

Pretty sure it wasn't a body underneath. Looked like a traffic island to me

  2. Have a look through my build thread ( link in signature below).

I had this problem and it's all sorted now

The pictures are great thanks. It looks a very clear view from the front. Was the area in front of the engine just clear because the radiator was removed or had they removed other items such as the crash panel and front panel etc? Just wondering how much I can get away with to minimise the strip down for the timing chain removal.

    Many thanks

    Andy

Mitz and his team at Cougar Store did the work, but I'm pretty sure they removed crash panel and everything to get in there.

  3. I bought a Parrot AR drone a few months back for £150 off eBay. It is controlled using an iPad or iPhone. You have to be careful you don't fly beyond your wifi range. I learned the hard way, and the wind picked it up and before I knew it, it was out of control and last seen flying off into the distance, never to be seen again ( well not by me).

I have since bought another one and this time I have attached a gps tracker, which if it goes out of wifi range, it will hold its gps position until I get close enough to control it again. I have taken it up above our village and got some great video footage.

Just make sure you have plenty of open space to fly one.

  4. Good photos of the work in progress for future reference, and glad to see that everything is running smoothly again.

Have to keep an eye on mine now, although she's only up to 36k, its good to be forewarned about these things.

I wondered why you had gone quiet recently...............or is it because your other half has given you have a massive "to do" list on the new house?

    Settling in ok?

It's a bit of that, and the fact that we are surrounded with lots of countryside and parks that we can go out with the kids more often.

    Didn't have such a luxury before ;)

But, yes, we're settling in really well thanks. Now I have a garage, I've been kitting it out with benches etc, and have also started on the new garden.

  5. Heres a belated update for you guys. Its been a couple of months since Ive had the work done now, and can report that all is well and the car is running as it should :)

It all started from this thread http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/92590-hr-potential-oil-pressure-problem/page__st__60

And then, after seeing Roscoes results, I concluded that mine was suffering the same, so went ahead and got Mitz and Andy @ Cougar Store to carry out the work for me. They did a fantastic job, and I can show you some photos of the work in progress.

    Love this picture ;)

You can see the original paper gaskets in the photos, and where the oil was leaking by internally. These have now been replaced with the later Nissan steel reinforced gaskets.

Thanks again to Roscoe for pointing me in the right direction, and to Mitz and his team

  6. Haven't been on here for a while, with moving house etc, and loads to do that goes with that. Chirag, I like what you've been up to.

I notice you have the same gear knob as me. I fitted a neo chrome finisher with mine. Have a look at my build thread and if you want a finisher, I actually bought 2 when I got mine, in case somebody else needed one ( difficult to source and was from Italy)

  7. I think what some of the "problem" is (Not personally, just for some users) is that with a lot of banned members, although the team haven't explained the reason for them being banned, it's been pretty obvious. With Will, he didn't go on an open forum swearing tirade, threaten to beat anyone up or damage another persons Z. He did clearly do something to get a ban, obviously something we all missed. Or maybe it was just the sandals and paint brushed wheels caught up with him

Anyway, moving back to the topic, Steve916, can you post up the rough costs once you've been given options? It's something I'm interested in doing at home too :)

If I find out i'll be sure to let you know :)

Forum moderators Illuminati cover up confirmed. WW was about to post a link from MSN backed up by "people who should know" from Facebook that exposed the lizard men that run this forum.

    FTFY.

OP, I hope all this speculation and discussion about WW is helping you find the price of your cloud view.... ;)

    Not really :D

    Started something here didnt I

  8. Sorry OP for off topic, but as I (and i suspect many others) am a nosey bugger, i'd like an explanation of why WW has been banned. Both threads (that i have seen) discussing this have been locked, without any explanation other than that he is banned.

And this one will probably get locked now too, and all I wanted to know was some info regarding cctv ;)

    Cheers Marzman.

Just kidding. Got some guy coming to explain it all tomorrow.

  9. Just click Edit, then click Use Full Editor. It's right next to Save Changes.

Sorry Dan. Must've been having a blonde moment. I was looking for a 'Full Editor' button everywhere but couldn't find one. Then I noticed that the thread title was showing in the edit window, so it must already be in full editor mode.

    Apologies and thanks.
