Stupid questions incoming : Having read around the forums ive seen a few comments that say " I bet it was run on 95 " etc. Can you only run these on super ? I only ever ran my FN2 on tesco momentum. Spacers - Hubcentric or the kind where you get longer studs and replace the OEM studs. First mods are going to be : Lower it on tein springs, 20mm/25mm spacers, exhaust of some sort including decat, stubby aerial and get rid of the standard stereo, 2013 now having a tape deck is no longer cool. Hope i'm doing the right thing, I have read a few horror stories with the revup motors

I was on the hunt for a clean 313 for a while, however a nice deal has come up on an azure blue 300 GT. Collecting it on saturday all being well, can't wait ! Love the colour I can't wait to detail it..is that sad ?

Where you get it done dave ? Is it any different to hydro dipping ? Is it durable too, as the factory nissan finish obviously isn't

Seriously considering just getting a 300 now given there are many more available with similar/less mileage and in better condition. I plan on modding whichever i get anyway so surely a 300 would be quick enough, just a little worried about the high oil consumption issue that i keep reading about on the 300 revup engine.

Is there anywhere else i should be looking ? None for sale on here, only a few on auto trader, piston heads and ebay.

Not to thread jack so sorry OP. But yeah its not a clean example, it drove alright..but a " Senior Sales Guy " Thats younger than me...wasn't overly impressed, gave a very forceful attitude, should of seen his face when i said i wanted to look at other cars and i wouldn't be buying this today. He said they will change the interior door handle...but the outside is tatty, needs a fair bit of paint/work to get it clean, and a full paint correction to get rid of the buffer trails galore.

I went to view one in rochdale nissan (its on autotrader) but its a nail, looks like its been polished with a brillo pad, big (about 5 pound coin sized) chip on drivers door, ding in passenger door, interior scabby, scuff on rear bumper..its this one. http://www.nissanuse...product=2011202 Doesn't look too bad on the pictures but its not a clean example at all. They have avoided taking pictures of the drivers door on purpose lol. Thing with buying from dealers is usually there is no tax as they chop it in to make more money and they don't want a car sat there for 2 months with tax on it. Which model has the speed sensitive steering ? Or did i read incorrectly, i read that when you're on the loud pedal the steering becomes heavier giving you more feedback but when you're just pottering about town the steering is lighter ? That 313 i test drove certainly felt nice to drive, but i would rather have a less mileage 300 than a higher mileage 313 if there isn't much difference in them.

The 300 and 313 are the same inside correct? Just the different engine and bonnet bulge?. Do these engines take mileage well as I plan on keeping it for a few years, examples in my price range are around 50k miles.

Heart is set on a 350 facelift, just need to find out if I want the 300 or 313, plenty of very clean 300s about at nice prices too. Is the HR that much better than the revup engine?

Was it all the facelifts that had thr interior change or just the 313?

Future mods get paid for by future money . Just had a quick look, there are a few very nice 300 GT's for sale, is the 300 the revup engine ? Which was the engine that had oil problems. The 313's are in budget, but there just aren't many around for sale at all, most are at dealers too.
