I wouldn't worry about it if it feels fine. Mine's on 98k on the original clutch, and there are plenty of cars about with more than that.

Welcome. If you see a grey 350z or a black 370z chances are it's me or my brother. We're just down the road in Walsall Wood.
-
I'm in Walsall Wood and always head to Cougar Store. Can't recommend anyone more local as I've never used anywhere else.
I'll have to keep an eye out for you too, never see any 350z's around here.

I don't know about the oil pressure dial, but when my flexi's were blowing I just took it to an exhaust place and had them chop out the old ones and weld in some new ones. Cost me £70 a side I think. Beats buying a whole new Y-pipe.

That's me!
Thanks everyone

This timing is excellent. Put me down for side diffusers please.

That's the one indeed. Left it parked on the drive for a bit and its gone back to normal now. Tried turning it off a few times on the way home with no luck, guess it needed longer?
You might as well delete this topic.

I might be tempted by the 22/7 one, have always fancied a track day.

Yeah I went and had a nose around, didn't get to see the infamous engine bay though. We did talk about mounting the plate, and I'm just round my dad's trying to sort something now, looks naff in the window.

Sorry to hear this. My house was broken into last year, thankfully they didn't find the keys though.

If you're going to buy a Mini 0801/0803/0805/0806 get it from JooVuu. UK based and warranty

I had to send 2 back as they were buggered but I got replacements within days, not weeks if they were going back to China like most other sellers.
Now that you mention it the cigarette lighter cable did stop working on day 3. I spoke to someone on Amazon and got a 10% refund though, since I wanted to wire it straight into the fuse box anyway, so I didn't want a replacement.

I installed a Mini 0801 a month or so ago, really impressed for the price. I can only assume this one's even better since it's a newer model.

My brother went down to Oxford Nissan today to pick up his new 370z. So instead of these two being on the drive
we have these two
And one on its own
I'm taking all the credit in influencing his car buying decision. The 370z is super nice, just feels more refined to me than my 350z. A little quiet though.

Anyone know what battery it takes? Mines been temperamental recently, so could probably do with being swapped.

That's some shocking work. I think this is the guy you recommended to me a while back, looks like I may have dodged a bullet.

Here's some pics of my refurb of the same wheels, to give you some idea of what's possible. Couldn't get the lip diamond cut as they weren't straight enough, and I didn't fancy the maintenance on polished lips, so its a straight forward powder coat job.

Hi Z Hopeful where is trade tyres in Shenstone as I pass through there on my way to work? I would like to go and have a chat with them
Just off Lynn Lane. Map here
-
I suppose they make sense. No mention of these sort of things on any of the previous MOT's. Guess it just comes down to the tester. The first one did crack me up though.

Cougar Store in Leicester's the only place I have (and plan to) take my 350z, so can't recommend anywhere closer.
For tyres I usually order online, then get them fitted at Trade Tyres in Shenstone. Only round the corner from work but the service is always excellent. There's actually a garage next door, where I'm getting my MOT done today, can't say I recommend them until it's done though.

Cougar Store gets my vote.

Damn, I paid £165 fitted when I got a puncture a few weeks back, was for a 245/30/r20 though. Will have to remember tyreleader next time I need a new set.
DIY Vinyl Wrap
in Styling
Posted
Welcome along to my latest (and stupidest to date) mod. I've decided to Vinyl Wrap my car this weekend since I've kinda ran out of anything else to do. So after weeks of research, cleaning and whatnot, I'm nearly ready to begin.
Badges, Side Steps, Skirts and Spoiler are off, and the A Pillars, Door Handles Bumpers, Lights etc will be coming out after a final wash tonight. Then I've got 3 days to get whatever I can done.
Here's a before pic of the car
And here's my progress so far
The spoiler was an absolute nightmare, but I'm pleased with the results so far. Though keen eyed viewers will spot the grey bit on the sideskirt. I blame my brothers dodgy cutting of the vinyl.
More updates to follow.
