  1. I ruined, and subsequently removed my CF Nismo Splitter, and I'd like to get a new (non CF) one sprayed up, fitted and the bumper re-sprayed too, with some possible smoothing as well.

Can anyone recommend a place nearby?

I tried a local place just now and they wanted £375 + Vat for just the bumper, is that the sort of price I'm looking at?

    Thanks

  2. Got a free tub of this a few years ago because I work for Autosmart. Just made me think about how rarely I've waxed my car. Think I've only ever used it once or twice. Maybe I should again since mines gunmetal too.

  3. Just attempted this as my aftermarket HU maxes at 35 and with the window down earlier I could barely hear it. My only problem is that the Yellow and Black connectors don't actually go anywhere, only the Red and White ones plug into my Head Unit. I picked up another adapter from Maplins so I don't have to chop the HU wiring, but do I just cut the Red & White ones, and pair them up with the relevant wires, and ignore the Yellow and Black, or is my Head Unit too crap to even comprehend?

  4. I thought it may have been Grundy. Comes to something when you recognise a spoiler off the internet.

I'm not Brighton based, just down for the weekend for a Stag do.

I had literally said only 5 mins before that in the year I've had my car I've only seen 3 other 350z's, and hey-presto 2 more.

    Cars looked great.

  5. Guys what's the difference between 2D, 3D & 4D wrap??

Also what is the best place to buy this from?

As far as I'm aware it's just how textured it looks. 2D is flat, 3D is better and 4D somehow gets time involved.

I just picked a random ebayer with decent feedback, classictrading-uk. Can't guarantee its the best place though.

  6. No issues really. The corners are a bit crap because I'm useless at this sort of thing though. Can't tell unless you're looking closely for it though.

Looking good and a fraction of the price of cf cover pieces, how does this stand up to our weather is it something that would need to be replaced frequently or does it hold up ok

No idea yet, only been on 5 days. I'm pretty pessimistic so keep expecting to hear them flapping in the wind as I drive though. But OK so far.

  7. I want to swap my standard Bose head unit for a Kenwood Single Din I have lying around from my old car. The problem is it looks far more complicated than my old car, and I’m useless with this sort of thing.

I’ve got the Bose head unit out, and the Kenwood head units plugs on the back are completely different, and I’ve got no idea what’s meant to plug into where. Head Unit plugs shown in the attachment.

Can anyone tell me which adapters I’ll need to keep the steering wheel controls working, and anything else I’ll need? Single Din & Pocket Facia is about as far as I’ve got.

Will I need to do busters mod so it’s not quieter after the swap too?

I understand I won’t be able to use Bluetooth with my phone but that doesn't bother me, I just want to be able to plug my phone in, and don’t have the budget for a proper double din install.
