Anyone selling these on here?
-
Losing to a JCW Mini. Not the first time it's lost on 5th Gear- it was over 1 second slower than the Megane Sport

@tarmac
Is it the RDX aerial as here? http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69409-genuine-rdx-stubby-aerials-decal-13-delivered-special-offer/

Looking for one of these posted to Dublin, Ireland. Anyone have one?
-
This is me in Portugal in the process of getting Sun Stroke which halted my holiday for 36 hours!
-
Would you sell without tyres?

I'm in possession of these particular decat pipes. I bought a zed a few weeks ago and these were thrown in as part of the deal. I also have the S/S exhaust manifolds listed by the same seller. I will consider selling if there's interest.
-
Keeping an eye out in the for sale section but just thought I'd place a wanted ad here too.
Looking for a full set of Rays
With or without tyres
Will accept a set that needs a refurb but asking price must reflect this!
I'm in Dublin Ireland but I have a guy in the courier business who can collect if not too far off the beaten track.
Not needed urgently so even if you are thinking of selling down the line do get in touch

Mine has a slight burning smell when giving it a hoot. After a bit of slow town driving, then hitting the dual carriageway at full blast you get the smell. It's not a continuous smell after every hard acceleration. Normally just the first one after tame driving.

Cheers CS, well actually Alex supplied the arm to me so maybe I just should have asked him hopefully he will be on or someone who has tried it might be able to give me a few pointers.
-
If you've got a new arm, its a straight swap, apparently you cant remove the ball joint anyway and assuming the bushing is ok on the new arm, you wouldnt need a press - I just replaced the bushings on mine, both sides. The biggest difficulty I had was with one of the nuts which i had to grind/chisel off. A local workshop pressed the old bushes out and the new ones in for £10.
Good luck
I should have specified, I have a replacement arm. So it's a straight swap. It's brand new so the bushes should be 100%.
This should be pretty straightforward so?
I must be getting confused, I thought the ball joint needed to be pressed out but it's in fact the bushes I'm thinking of so that shouldn't be an issue.

I have a lower compression arm that I need fitted to my Z. I was wondering if this is a DIY job with non-specialist type tools?
I'm thinking not- as I'm a assuming I will need some kind of a hydraulic press to remove the ball joint but just want clarification. What do you guys think?

I have Falken 453s on the rear of my zed. So far so good. Good price vs performance. A little bit edgy in the wet but they have a predictable feel about them. Had them on the track too- it was a very hot / dry day though.
The Vred Ultra Sessantas are class tyres. Amazing grip in the dry and wet. I ran them on my GT (225s) so I have no idea what they are like on a Zed. The soft compound of them means they didn't last too long. I think I got about 8,100 miles out of them on a front wheel drive with 140bhp /120 lb ft torque.

She is smoking!

I hope there were no Zeds on board this bad vessel.

Nice car
> Had a small dent in the rear plastic bumper straightened out
If you don't mind me asking. Where did you get this done and did it cost much? I'm trying to find someone around Dublin to take a small dent out of my bumper.
PM sent delz0r!
Welcome to the Forum Needs a stubby aerial otherwise it looks like a dodgem..!
Cheers Will yeah I defo need a stubby aerial, it's on the to do list

Interesting. Was the soldering difficult? What guide did you use- looking at the pictures there are 4 wires in the OEM connections- 2 of these wires on each connector are being soldered to one of the two wires on the new fan shroud?
-
Hi all....
I've started looking at some mods depending on my available funds- I have unconfirmed Zeditis symptoms:
> Thinking of getting a Stillen Front splitter for the OEM bumper in carbon.
> I'd like Berk HFCs
> Exhaust system- (will be posting here for some advice soon)
Thanks for reading.... and of course some pictures:

Do you guys in the UK get taxed on gains you make selling the shares?
Over here it's as high as 33% on the gains over what you paid. So that in addition to your buying and selling fees can add up quite a lot. Keep that in mind.

I really like that Nismo gauge cluster. Not very different from the OEM but nicer with the way the illumination work. I presume that is a direct connect replacement to the OEM? GLWS!

I spent nearly 40mins on that web page in work today. My god it's addictive
