I've just ordered the denso's! Ngk's are about 3 weeks old! Wish I would have read this forum rather than the manual!! Hopefully if I get it tuned(revup) I'll regain some lost horses. It by all means feels slow but thought I should have left the 530 auto for dead!!

I love the car tbh. Just a bit worried maybe about the performance. It's got 57k on the clock, sounds healthy. Only thing I've done to the engine is change the spark plugs to ngk platinums, which has for some reason lost me about 4 mpg! And installed a pop charger and a d1 throttle controller. What should I get checked for lack of performance?

Just seen the replies. I've came from a 306 bhp fiat coupe turbo. Also owned an e46 smg m3 and been driving a clk 55 amg for a while. I understand that the z wouldn't keep up the car mentioned but recently had to really drive hard just to keep up with a friends bmw 530 petrol auto! Took me by surprise to say the least!!

Obviously a man with taste!! Lol.

I don't personally know buster, but I read his thread on after market head units and the rca chop. Wow! Watta difference! I bought an alpine DVD/cd player which sounded awful!!! I followed the 'buster' mod and it sounds 1000% better!!!! Thank you.

The mpg's been down for about 3 weeks now. Only installed the pop charger 3 days ago. I'm down to 13.7 mpg!!!!!

Hi thanks for the replies. I'll give the reset a go and see how I get on thanks. Would the ngk's make that much difference? I read I. My manual to use platinums. I'm not questioning your knowledge!! Rather learning from it! Lol.

Hi to anyone that can help. I have a couple of issues! Firstly I've replaced my spark plugs with ngk laser platinums for my p3. Since they were installed my mpg has gone from 19ish to about 15. Also, might be my imagination but feels slightly slower. Next issue is I've just installed a pop charger. I moved the car about 6 foot to get in the dry without the airbox/maf connected and now an engine management light won't go away. Any help would be great! Thanks.

Sorry just to add I have the bose stereo. I don't think the subs working but it never has, so it's the front and rear speakers that sound poo!!

Hi everyone. I bought an alpine double din DVD/ stereo off of a forum member and had a friend install it yesterday. My issue is that the speakers now have less bass and are alot quieter and tinny'er! Is there something my friend could have done wrong to cause this?

Hi all. I've just bought an alpine head unit off a forum member. I have a 2005 350z gt with the bose stereo. What will I need to fit the stereo, wires etc? Anybody sell anything or know anything that I need? Any help would be great!!!!

Anybody selling a vortex strip? I have a modded azure blue with a black roof, black diffuser and black badges. Think it might look ok on it. Not 100% sure though so don't wanna waste loads on a brand new one!

I know it's a not a good thing and it isn't what my aim is. It's just that its not able to. I thought the power should be plenty to have a bit of spin shifting into 2nd. As regards to the way I drive I've owned many fast cars and consider myself a good fast driver and can adapt to pretty much any car very quickly. Just wondered if my particular z maybe slightly lacking power?

I bought the d1 throttle controller and to be honest I didn't really notice any difference in performance. It just made the car a bit jumpy and awkward to drive! It's been in normal mode from about 2 days after installing it! Looks like the up revs the way forward for me then! Thanks guys ill get that booked in!

I'm looking for a bit more low down grunt on my 2005 350z. Would like the rev up tune, will there still be a noticible difference even I don't go with the hfc's and a plenum spacer. Car is standard all bar a cat back exhaust and im gonna order a cosworth panel filter. Got no chance of spinning in second gear. Not that I want to but thought there should be enough power to?

I live in bristol? It's strange isn't it! The second picture was taken in bright sunlight and makes the car look lighter than it really is! The roof wrap price was wrong! It's £120 sorry.

Basically a full respray, all bar the roof and the passenger door as they were unblemished. Absolutely stunning job of it he done as well! I know the bloke who done it so only charged me £600! I'm sure he'd do deals to anyone who says they know me. The roofs costing me £150.
