Excellent thats reasuring, im guessing theres different standards of glassing though.

Has anyone clear bra'd there fibreglass bumper before? if so how sucessful was it in reducing cracks/chips.

Yeah I'm used to driving low cars coming from a VW background but I've always had relatively cheap plastic splitters that I can replace.

Does anyone know if getting the bumper clear bra'd helps at all? I'm thinking it maybe help reduce the cracks and chipping potential.

But as always I could be horribly wrong.

So how is it?

I've been looking at getting a nismo v2 rep from EPRacing but haven't bit the bullet yet as I've previously read that the fibreglass bumpers crack and chip paint left right and centre and anyone who owns one is constantly in the paint shop.

Are these people just terrible drivers and hit everything in sight causing them to crack and chip or is it really this bad even if you are a careful driver?

I've been after a 2nd hand tdx for a year now with no luck. Missed out on one a few months ago I think it sold within 10/15mins of being listed whilst I was stuck at work.

I'm giving it another couple of months and then just going to settle for a Gemini or ark grip ...

Hi

So I started the Z after work today and if felt a bit lumpy on idle. When I got out of the car park and took the car up to speed it got worse and the check engine light started flashing.

I pulled over and plugged in my obd2 reader and I got the codes P0302 & P0300 (aswell as the usual P0420 & P0430 as I have high flow cats)

I understand P0302 & P0300 are misfire in cylinder 2 and a general random misfire.

So where do I got from here? My first thoughts are to check the plugs and the coil packs but after that I'm not sure. . .

Bit about the car: 04 UK ,72k ,had the spark plugs done approx a year ago, high flow cats and stainless cat back, plenum spacer , momentum performance cold air intake.

All help and guidance will be much appreciated
