  1. Don't mean to sound funny but as all on here rate CS TOP NOTCH a couple of good reviews on their web site would be good for anyone who's not a member of this forum as I noticed yesterday they don't have any & most people including myself always check reviews good & bad to help me make a decision ( just an idea ) that was how I found a good 350z for my money & avoided the rip off merchants. By the way CS thank for the pm's on where you are & the offer of any help & advice much appreciated.

  2. Can somebody please put up a link to these people as I would like to know where they are for when I need a service ( and anything else ) with all the praise they are getting if they are a long way from me ( Peterborough, Cambs ) I would just book my baby in & have a day out cheers

  3. I've never understood why people do this.

They are jealous of the fact that we have a decent motor though hard work and they can't afford one on the social so they damage our one's ( I SAY IF YOU CATCH THEN CUT OFF THEIR BALLS ) I caught some little scrotes trying to nick my escort a few years ago & the answer I got from the old bill was give them a beating for us cause there's nothing we can do till they are 16
  4. Welcome Jim if your looking for an early one forget about the sat nav as I was lulled in by it & am having to fit a Kenwood to be able to get up-to date maps a later one with a X6 or X7 sat nav should be ok as there are up-date discs available on-line ( mines a 54 plate with a birdview 5.1 cd based sat nav ) hope this helps & enjoy the hunt it took me a couple of months to find a good one from a trader that had good reviews on-line :D

  5. Hi all was just wondering my front wipers lifts all the way up to change the blade but my rear one don't is this right as on my last motor a Hyundai s111 both front and rear came fully away from the screen to aid in fitting a new blade?

  6. Coincidently I got a fault on my boiler last week ... fortunately I recently did some work for guy who services boilers for a living and he did me a temporary fix to keep us warm. He suggested that the boiler needed a new "brain" for a proper fix and the cheapest way would be by enrolling in the British Gas scheme. I haven't looked into it yet but I shall do in due course when I get time.

I enrolled with British gas when I got a new boiler a couple of years age it may seem expensive but they come out every year & service mine & the parts & labour are included so it pays for itself in the end ( my new boiler cost £2500 about 2 years ago ) so it pays to have the service contract, you can set yourself up with a account on their website & then you are able to pay on-line & book what day & time you want them to come within a time slot. Hope this helps
  7. I've only just got my first 350z a 54 plater ( lower tax ) & think it doesn't really matter what one you get just as long as you get a big grin on your face when driving it, :D

  8. Welcome just remember it's not all about the power of the car but more about how the car makes you feel & what fun you can have in it ( I'm a biker too & I have had more fun on lower powered bikes than high power bikes as you are on the edge all the time & not just plodding along cause of all the power you have ). :teeth:

  9. Welcome :teeth: only had mine about a month now spend a long time looking & check the reviews of the places you find them as I found some great deals but when I checked the reviews of the places selling them they were slatted eventually found a 54 plate with 36000 miles & all the paperwork from the day of sale for just under £9000 ( cheaper on the road tax cause of the age even though I had to do a 700 mile round trip to test drive & pick up ) now in love with my ZED

  10. Have a look at EBike they were the only ones that would insure me for my tuned Kawasaki 636cc ( hi flow K & N air filter & tunable Power commander ) & when I was knocked off a couple of years ago they reported the accident/chased my claim & picked up & returned my bike fully restored in six weeks ( £2000 worth of damage ) ,they also text & called me up to six times a day to let me know what was going on.If they do charge a bit more their level of service is second to none,I've been riding on & off 32 years & they are the best I have had to date. BIKES ( YAMAHA XS250 , KAWASAKI Z200 , YAMAHA RD200, DUCATI 748S ( TUNED ), KAWASAKI 636 ( TUNED ) hope this helps

  11. Hi All,

As some of you maybe aware, I've previously made my own vertical tonneau cover out of MDF and also sold a few on eBay. There does appear to quite a lot of interest for these at the moment and the OEM ones have recently sold on 'the bay' for over £150! :scare:

The one's I've sold on eBay have sold for between £60 and £90 plus P&P. Unfortunately someone has now seen the success of my divider and is now selling their own (my eBay username is NOT impy7).

I was just trying to get a feel from forum members to see if anyone would be interested in buying one from me if I were to make them? Here's a few pics.

I'm thinking of asking £45 plus P&P, which would be £14 via Parcel Force 48hr Express Delivery. This offers the best value and protection to ensure the divider arrives safely. Cost is a little high as each divider weighs 2kg.

I'd make the divider for each individual order I receive, so each one will be made just for you. Therefore if you do have a request such as not featuring the 'Z' or a different colour (red, blue, grey etc to match your car) this won't be a problem, but might involve a little extra cost (£5) for the coloured acoustic carpet if I have to order it.

I'm unable to sell any on the forum until I register as a member trader, so I'm really trying to gauge interest to see if anyone would be interested before I do.

Just to set expectations (and avoid any disappointment), I would be making them in my spare time, so there might be a delay of a week or two from you telling me you want one to you receiving it, but I will make your divider ASAP.

Please let me know by reply to this thread if you'd definitely want one and I'll add you to the list below. If I have enough interest, I will register ads a trader and begin production.

    Cheers, Ian

I'm in if you start to do them as they are a pig to gey
  12. I always use shell V Plus Use it on my bike which is tuned & it seems to run better Plus I get more miles to the gallon as the engine internals are cleaned so I use it on my 350z as well no complaints yet & over time it seems to work out about the same price as supermarket fuel :teeth:
