  1. On the advice of members on this forum I've just bought new gas struts from SGS after cuts and bruises to my head ( just under £66 delivered ) thanks to all for the advice that's put on this forum they work a treat and it took me longer to sort out my tools than it did to fit them :teeth::thumbs:

  2. I did Peterborough to Dundee in July average 56 MPG with two stops couldn't believe it so I reset everything for the way back and still got 50 MPG and was having fun both ways when I got away from the cameras but in the winter on short runs I do manage to get it as low as 11 MPG. WHO NEEDS A TOY CAR WHEN A REAL ONE CAN DO THIS. :teeth:

  3. Women want equal rights and even though I don't agree with hitting them if one is big enough to punch me in the mouth then she is big enough to be punched back.My Ex was my sparing partner at kick boxing and broke 2 of my ribs once so they're not all as fragile as you think :boxing:

  4. I had this on my old Ducati motorbike but the rear wheel totally locked up. The rear brake master cylinder had sprung a leak and the pads were just making contact with the disc ( not enough to see ) and after a few miles the disc would get hot and expand to the point of jamming onto the pads then lock the back wheel up.Hope this helps.

  5. Still worth keeping an eye on it though Chris as I don't pretend to know a lot, most of what I learn I get from here and the guys that do my servicing last thing I want is my baby to go bang so I'm very careful unless it's something that I've seen before.

  6. I had this issue last year a couple of months after the middle and back of my exhaust was replaced had it checked and nothing was wrong so it was re-set,had the same issue last week a few weeks after the Y-pipes and HFC cats were replaced but everything runs ok so did the pedal dance to re-set and now waiting to see if it comes on again if so I'll then have it checked out again does seem a bit of a coincidence though it's as if the ECU doesn't like the new clean exhaust and needs to re-learn what it feels like.
