    Subnets are a b****

     

    I'm pretty good at maths but it still confused the hell outta me! There are lots of videos on youtube just keep reading and repeating it will stick eventually.

     

    But tbh I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you are not in the business of actually setting up new networks you will rarely need to work out subnets. Working 1st line support I'd worry much more about knowing how to "switch it off and back on again" :lol:

    Ash Tray / Cubby Hole Cover/Lid (2003)

    I am not too sure how to best describe this one. My zed is missing the cover or lid to the small ash tray / cubby hole next to the hand brake. (not the large cubby hole further back)

     

    Wouldn't be a big issue apart from the fact that the light in there is constantly on and bugging me.

     

    I haven't looked at it in great detail so I'm hoping its a case of just clipping it back in place I'm hoping it hasn't snapped off. Does anyone know if this cover is meant to be removable?

    Finally took the plunge and got myself a zed!

    I have been on the look out for a zed for the past few months and finally after great anticipation and deliberation I have finally gone and purchased!

     

    I believe it was once owned by a member of this forum.

     

    Its a 2003 GT (UK model) in silver. Pretty much standard apart from the following

     

    -Stubby arial

    -Japspeed K2

    -20mm Spacers

    -Rota GTRs in Matt Black

     

    Looks and sounds very nice.

     

    As you can imaging I've had a great first weekend of driving it around and I'm now completely skint till the end of the month when I want to get a full service done on her.

     

    After that I can start to add me own touches. I really don't know what I want to do yet so I'm after suggestions for goodies I can spend all of my hard earned cash on. Will get some pics up later. Looking forward to being a member on here and possibly coming to a few meets ;)

    Hi guys n girls...

     

    Been looking for a new car for a while now... was originally considering a 9-3 2L Turbo... then a TT n then came across this magical beast... a 350z! I have to say I am in love and I don't even own one yet! :D

     

    Getting my focus through its MOT then I plan to sell n trade on up! N i cant wait! Will still be about a month or two till I have the funds but I'm doing my research now.

     

    When it comes down to it i will have around £6k to spend looking for a 2003-3005 GT but I really don't want silver or that burnt organge colour... shame 9 out of 10 zeds seem to be in these colours :blush: I will bide my time and wait for the perfect zed to come up.

     

    I am from essex so hoping there is a bit of a zed scene around here? would be up for meets etc.

     

    Anyway... hello n looking forward to planning my new project :)
