One of my faves, is when you get a BMW or AUDI or other similar nice car, and the GF/WIFE of the driver is looking over slyly, but discreetly so that thier husband/bf doesnt know. this one is near top of my books

Happens all the time for me, come up to a double lane, which filters into one, once got green light, i was in left lane, and right lane is got to filter in, but we turning right anyway so right lane will always be ahead once turned, minding my own business a Old school celica pulls up, staring over at me and a little rev, lights went green i pulled away, he went all mental spinning screeching the works to get there before me, i just casually let him get on with it, was in 3rd by 30mph lol, as i slowly made my way up behind him at the next lights, i saw him staring in his rear view mirror, i just sat there and gave the biggest yawn known to man plus i had tootache so was not really bothered by any proving of this or that!! My brakes are worth more than his whole car!!!

when i was looking i also came across the white one on ebay, phoned them up, and i have never been so uncomfortable in my life, i thought i dialled straight into Football Factory or Green Street or something, I was then told quite bluntly to phone his partner back at the office to which the attitude didnt improve. After scouring ebay i actually found the old owner of the car who advised me of a few things. The car is probably decent, but by god!!!!! sort your attitudes out, dont mumble or groan because someone wants to listen to the exhaust note over the phone. As guessed i never enquired again.

thanks guys for the response, some of the chips on the bonnet are quite bad, so i think i been quoted quite fairly, considering the painter there has very good feedback from locals i know who have used them

So i just took my Zed to a local bodyshop who have a real good rep. I have stone chips galore on my front bumper and part of the bonnet, they quoted me £480 inc vat for a complete respray of the front bumper and bonnet! as ive not had much experience with prices and body repair or spraying wanted to know if this was a decent price? or what price would be decent.

Looks very tidy, the ad colour text and background did give me a slight headache though haha

Finally being dieng to get to some sort of car meet with my new found joy, got south west modified meet at Salisbury tonight probably going to be full of saxos and 106's so be nice to show them some real muscle Then tomorrow is the Dorset Japanese Car Club meet at Bakers arms Poole, gave the car a basic wash tonight and all ready, is it ok to be 27 years old and be excited like a child again?

Yes £120 is cheap, usually cost in excess of £200 for this kind of work. And again, yes i want to watch etc to learn, i cant wait to watch it happen

yes goes without saying, id never get angry with someone for looking or taking pics of it, only if they started touching or damaging things. Does not help that the post office is by a school and a college, and i dispatch my orders around 4pm lol

Yeh i think im getting paranoid they seemed pretty harmless, they didnt look rough or anything lol. I live in Weymouth, which is quite a sought after place to live so not known for its crime.

So i parked up outside a post office to dispatch my orders today. Came back outside to find around 5 kids, id say aged range from 13-15 all gathered around the car, looking inside it, looking at the brakes, and one taking a picture. I may just be getting paranoid, and they may just be admiring it, but im now feeling umcomfortable as i live close to this post office and dont want to come out one day to find it vandalised.

I dont think you guys know me, i cant wash up a plate let alone a car!!!! i tried polishing, managed one side, circles everywhere, and polish in all the sills!!! im awful!! Yes its a mate rate, its 2 days work, using machines etc, to bring the colour back to the service, all inside is done too every single nook and cranny, the wax he has is £170 a pot. Then of course the whole car will be sealed to protect it

A friend of mine owns a Valeting Company specialising in Luxury, Exotic and performance vehicles My Zed is going in later this week to be completely done inside and out, he said will make it look like a mirror, and seal the paint too, will take 2 days, and car will be stored overnight, means i wont have it for nearly 2 days!!!! but i think it will be worth it. Heres an example of the work hes done.

How much mess was the field in though! Imagine the permission needed to do that? lol Thats what i said to the MRS, they must have really pulled some strings to do that!! I watchd Bon Jovi at Twickenham, but the whole pitch was covered in white boards.
