Did another good clean. Needs a machine polish but I'm not doing that!

Turns out it was just an air lock. When I used the bleed screw for the last time it hissed out about 15 seconds worth of air before any bubbles then eventually coolant! Thanks to those who helped

Probably should of took the pics in the sun... Here's the shine I managed after a quick wash polish and wax. Going to do a better detail on Saturday, depending on weather.

I've searched and all I can find is people with constant cold air problems. When the car is up to temperature and I'm driving along at say 30mph - cold air... bump the speed up and it's hot. On idle it's cold, increase the revs it goes hot. I've checked coolant levels and they're fine. I've done the bleed screw, a slight amount of air came out but not a great deal. I've made sure the climate control auto switches aren't on, but wouldn't make sense for it to go hot and cold from idle to increase revs. I'm now out of ideas... Other than maybe a sticky thermostat or a heater matrix problem?

Thanks. Yeah theyre not bad, as auto I just stuck it in 2 then the slower/technical parts into L. The 1JZs probably do it no bother in 2. I would of went back to an S13 but I thought Id be different, different isnt always the best/cheapest though haha. Its almost manual now, getting it finished off Friday/Saturday hopefully. Should be a whole new animal, but I wont find out until its on the track as Im not putting it back on the road.

Damn right Lexx ;D Car is going back to the garage today, knock knock banana arm... Smooth sailing all the way home til I got into town and found sone uneven road, he said over the phone its probably just a drop link. Can always hope :') Sounded like my wheel was about to come off!

I didn't realise I made an account so long ago! Oh well this is still my first post, so hi! I'm picking up my 350z tomorrow cannot wait. I was going to get a 350z last year (probably when I made this account) but I decided to get a Toyota Soarer 4.0 V8 instead... I know I know, I was silly... I am a Nissan lover at heart too.. But I still have the Soarer, not sure if Im going to finish off the manual conversion and just keep it as my track drifter as no way am I going to abuse my 350! Anyways, pictures will be up tomorrow no doubt! It's a pretty basic 350z but I'm not one for flash gizmos anyways.
