Thanks guys, I think the best ones are the standard lights sprayed inside. All the ones I find on the internet for the front don't work if you have standard HIDs. They all seem to be for the zed that come without HID's for JDM, USA etc

Hi all

I have a Gunmetal Zed with black badges and thought it would look good to have black/smoked lights all round. I don't really want to take them apart to spray ,so does anyone know a UK seller that sells the standard lights in black.

Also does anyone know about the honeycomb stuff that people put over there lights. Looks quite good from a small distance and I recon this option is cheaper then new lights

You need to have the yellow points card first and after 150 litres in a quarter you get the red one in the post. Shell say:

"If you’re a Shell Drivers’ Club member and you buy 150 litres of Shell V-Power or Shell V-Power Diesel or more in a calendar quarter you’ll be invited to move up to Shell V-Power Club in the next quarter. You’ll then receive your new membership pack and card."

I got this one and picks up all the radio stations. There are cheaper ones but not very good.

And the double points with v-power are good as said above. When you get enough you get your own red points card with your name on it

Only run mine on v-power, Even though its a bit more its much better for the engine and performance

Always nice when just disconnecting the battery and trying again works. Glad its fixed I bet you was getting annoyed

One thing I would say if the nice car is in a child and parent bay don't park next to it because their kids don't care if their door swings open and hits yours or the parent is struggling to get their kids in and the door swings open

Hi all

I am sure this has been ask a few times before but I'm thinking about buying LED rear lights. Is it just a case of plug and play. Take out and unplug the old ones and plug in the new ones.

Yes the t20 7440 is the bulb you need. Make sure you get one with lots of LED's like a 360 degree one because the bulb slots in sideways so if you just have LED's on the end the light shines to the side of the rear and you can't see anything behind you

That is one annoying thing about an aftermarket head unit, Its never very loud and you have to really turn up the volume.

Remember when you get the led reverse bulb get one with the led's all the way round so it gives a 360 degree light because the bulbs slot in at an angle

Just wondering if the Zed's have a service light that comes up on the dash, I have done around 7500miles and I know its best to service them around 9000miles. Was just wondering if and where this light is and around what mileage it comes on.

Sorry thats what I mean if it imported after mid 2006 it goes in the higher tax even if the car is a 03 - 04 - 05 etc

When you import a zed it gets put in the higher tax band so when it should be about £280 a year it will be nearer £400 a year I believe and I also think the JDM ones have a smaller battery

And Cyberfella that is exactly how I put my Mines copy on to my bumper then plasti dipped it black to match my badges and came out like this.

M-Tec are traders on here. I have used their disc on a few different cars before and never had a problem seem good to me and not a bad price. I have not yet used them on my Zed.
