  1. Thanks for the advice! Learnt something new
  2. Sweet! Now that's easy to understand! haha You wouldn't know best offset for 350z to get rims sitting flush on wheel arch? When we supply wheels, we tend to opt for an offset of 20 or as close as, have a look at our thread here, these all have an offset of 20 in the Rota GTR wheels we've supplied - http://www.350z-uk.c...m-cougar-store/ That's the look I'm going for! Just for future reference, what's the price range of your rims with and without tyres?

  4. Is offset figure a mm measurement? and also lower the offset, further out they sit and higher the offset, futher in they sit? (assuming sitting in the wheel arch and not actual dish of the rim)?
  5. Found a set of Rota GTR wheels I want I had a previous set 18" with 8.5J with 35 offset on front and 9.5J 30 off set on rear, fitted nice with no problems before an Audi driver ripped them to bits. I have found a new set which are exactly same but front ET is 20 and rear ET is 35. Is this going to be a problem with clearence? Spacers needed? Car will be lowered by 30mm if that makes any difference?!

  8. Sorry as mentioned to bpmjames in a PM, cubby hole is not available as it has been modified to acomidate my defi control unit. I have another one but it is one to fit Zeds with Sat Nav.. Thanks.
  9. Good Lord! In August last year, we got a slight nudge to the rear of the Jag, and we're STILL waiting for the other guy's insurers to cough up. Who are you, and the Audi driver, with, cos I need to change insurers. All down to liability. If liability is in your favour you can claim all your losses a lot quicker

  11. Not to sure what your on about dude? Where did this Q come from? My zed didn't have rear mounted turbos..?
  12. So could I drop my engine, with engine loom and ECU into a facelift you think?
  13. I've got standard ECU but running a piggy back. That's all plug and play.. I did want a car that my engine will easily be dropped into but I'm soo fussy when it comes to picking the right car and there are a lot of facelifts I would consider buying.. Would I have to change whole car loom?
  14. So there is no way of me adapting my engine unless I change engine or whole car loom?
  15. Not too sure if this Q is top of everyone's list as generally it would be going backwards.... But I have a VQ35DE twin turbo conversion with fully forged cosworth internals.. For those who haven't seen the thread yet, the car was oblitirated last weekend by an Audi A3. I'm looking for a low mileage Zed for my replacement (pref 30 - 40k miles or less) to put the engine in, but a low miles prefacelift is becoming hard to find. Does anyone know if the wiring loom is the same in the facelift model to adapt my pre-facelift engine?
  16. Thats the shape of the intercooler untouched considering how low the car is mounting the kirb and the front bumper being wripped off into 4+ pieces!
