  1. If we had a seperate PC gamers thread, at least people would have at least heard of dayz lol

Sorry, but old game that flopped.

Was amazing, revolutionising game when the mod first came out for Arma. Only reason I bought Arma, along with I think it was around 60% increase of sale for Arma since the mod.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut that was it, it never really evolved from the Mod, nothing really changed, bugs and glitches were still there.

I had huge fun in the Mod, however I never bought the release and wouldn't plan to any time soon.

But at least we can thank Dayz for starting a chain reaction of Survival games over the last few years

  2. Finally bailed on Dirty Bomb as my go to FPS, Overwatch has stuck the final nail in it's coffin I think. I gave in and joined my friends on Overwatch.

My thoughts after the weekend of solid play...

Good: Polished all around, not early access, no pay to win or pay walls, no subscription, a lot of character choice to keep you busy, decent amount of maps, wide variety of play styles possible.

Bad: The graphic style I really hate, it's a very arcade like constant action feel which I don't like as much, a few characters feel very overpowered when used properly, a few extremely frustrating classes that have zero skill abilities (literal aim bots).

Overall, yeah it's nice and I'll keep playing it. It's not entirely my preference for FPS but it's the direction everyone else has taken so it doesn't leave much option, as the larger player base means better matchmaking etc.

You guys should really make separate threads for PC and consoles :p seem to be a few PC gamers here but it gets drowned out by the console peasants

    I caved into this,

Was on Total War: Warhammer for a week, loved it, epic game. But takes up a lot of time for a single session once you're far into the campaign.

So I picked up Overwatch Saturday, Played the BETA and loved it. Awesome game.

I think the graphics suit the style of the game, Unsure of balance issues. Tracer is a bitch ass whore, but then again she is very week if you can spot her early on.

Don't think I've had an issue where I see someone playing a hero and this...Pfft GG.

  3. I swore I'd never, ever recommend an FM transmitter ever again after the shocking quality of the ones I tried when I had a 350Z. The tape deck sounded better using 20 year old tapes!

    HOWEVER

This now exists. I've bought two now, one for the Bummer and one for the Clio, and they're utterly fabulous. Couple them with a Brodit mount and I fail to see why you'd ever want to spend the money on a new HU unless you must have other gimmickery. These aren't cheap, granted, but they're the only thing I'd recommend and I don't recommend any old tat.

    Does this come with Clapton?
  4. Are you swapping from a DE? Won't it look unsightly with the twin lines that run into the DE's front bumper? Or is the front bumper getting upgraded as well?

Get a v2 bumper on also mate itll look sweet

This is what ruins the HR bonnet.

V2 has the indents to follow the DE bonnet.

Non nismo/OEM front bumper is smooth and suits the HR fine.

  5. Where do you guys buy your Concentrates from?

My main source for some fun flavours - Vapedomain.co.uk

My favorite is a a concentrate that is all ready to mix, Dragons Blood - Strawberry sauce on ice cream and menthol. Amazing!

    I've just ordered..

    30ml - Dragons Blood

    10ml - Butterscotch

10ml - Twinkies (Curious about this one)

    10ml - Super Menthol

    10ml - Rasberry Jam

10ml - Pineapple (Never tried pineapple in a vape yet)

    10ml - Vanilla Cream

10ml - Butterscotch Angel Delight (Looking forward to this)

    10ml - Cereal Milk

    10ml - Custard Creams

Plan is to build up a collection to start mixing some US juices.

But for now I plan to try...

Cereal Milk/Vanilla Cream and Rasb Jam

Cereal Milk/Vanilla Cream and Custard Creams

    Cereal Milk/Butterscotch

    Pineapple/Vanilla Cream

  6. This Mod doesn't lock :( So will have to be extra careful. However this is more than likely just a tester for me, to see if I get on with it.

I thought that was the case, the fluch button style should be fine in a pocket unless a key pokes the button in, but I'd still prefer a mod with a lock. You'l probably hear the atty crackling away if the button accidentally gets pressed I guess.

Yeah think I'll be extra vigilant with this, do feel a tad nervous

One thing I did read on a calculator site, for my battery, I'll get about 150 puffs out of it (5 sec puffs)

Looks like this will be a desk vape

  7. 30A max continuous discharge

That's the main one, use an ohms law calculator:

    http://www.ohmslawca...-law-calculator

Plug in your voltage (4.2V, the batteries say 3.7V but at maximum charge it's 4.2V) and your resistance (0.3Ohms or whatever), hit the button and check the current, if it's below 30A you'll be fine. You'll probably want to leave a safety margin though, say 25A max. The calc is simply V / R so 4.2/0.3 if you'd prefer to not use the calculator.

I noticed this with your mod:

The SMPL is a no-top-cap, atty to battery

Make sure all the attys you use with it have a positive/cetner pin that always protrudes below the rest of the atty, you don't want the outside bit of the 510 connector coming in contact with the positive pin.

Also, how does the lock on the button work on that mod?

Yeah I watched a couple of videos/reviews on the mod. Both my Dodge and Royal hunter are 510 compliant, have the pin etc.

This Mod doesn't lock :( So will have to be extra careful. However this is more than likely just a tester for me, to see if I get on with it.

  8. Cheers Hayden, Just the man I was looking for.

    https://www.vampirev...-by-wotofo.html

Ordered this for now (That stingray does look nice!) Just because it was cheap and simple, and out of the Vampire range, only one with the vents at the bottom. (Ideally I'd like my next one to have a few more vents for peace of mind)

I guess I got lucky, ordered the same Battery's too. Sony VCT5.

Just ordered a load of concentrates too.

With regards to the coil. I'd say I'm similar to you, build my coils to about 0.3/0.4Ohm.

From what you did there (4.2/0.25) Is this a simple method as to working out what to run.

So the same battery as you.

    • Nominal capacity: 2600mAh
    • Rated capacity: 2500mAh
    • Continuous maximum charge current: 4A
    • Continuous plus charge current: 12A
    • 30A max continuous discharge
    • 18mm diameter
    • 65mm length
    • Nominal voltage: 3.6V
    • Charge voltage: 4.20±0.05V
    • Cut-off voltage: 2.5V
    • Flat Top

The ones I've highlighted in bold, that's the figured I should be looking at, and keeping the output below 30A?

  9. Just going to copy and paste the advert from my website, sorry if it looks a bit out of place, will tidy up the best I can. -

    History...

I purchased this 350Z since the end of 2013, so it’s spent just under 3 years in my ownership.

At that time it had just 63k miles on the clock, so I’ve done just under 30K miles myself.

At the end of 2014, sadly the engine required replacement. I was determined to only fit an engine I felt suitably comfortable with, and passed over many engines of unknown history until I found the perfect one with similar miles on the clock. At the same time, I took the opportunity to install the Stillen headers as it’s an absolute pig to do with the engine in place, along with a new uprated clutch and single mass flywheel. Full documentation of this process is available, and the car has only ever been run on 98RON unleaded or higher whilst in my ownership.

The car has been serviced at regular intervals following the Nissan guide for the service schedule, which is 9K miles or annually. This is also fully documented. I will have an oil change and full inspection of the car completed before I sell, which is booked in.

In the last few months I have also had two new wheels bearings fitted on the rear offside and front nearside. At the same time as this work I had a custom support bracket made to ensure the Stillen headers would never foul the steering rack, which can happen on some installations.

    History.jpg

    Modifications

    Rear bumper -

The rear bumper has been modified for cosmetic reasons, and whatever your opinion it’s certainly been a talking point at shows in the past year! Personally I love it, however all the OEM mounting points are still available should you wish to fit an alternative rear bumper.

    Megan Rear Spoiler -

This was the best wing for the 350Z that wasn’t ridiculous money, and the fact it perfectly complements the lines of the car was a bonus. It took me months of searching for the right wing, and then a further few months to track down someone who could import this to the UK for me.

Replica Nismo V3 Front Bumper -

This was sprayed by myself and a friend, which is also documented and available on request. The front end does have the usual stone chips which are routine on any car with a low bluff front end. There is also a slight lacquer over run on the splitter, but structurally both are sound.

    Siebon Carbon Facelift Bonnet -

Some aftermarket bonnets can have poor fitment, but as you can see this is an excellent fit in this application. Sadly, in recent months I’ve noticed the edge of the bonnet closest to the windscreen has started to fade and the lacquer has started to peel slightly. If I’m honest, his will need flattening and re-lacquering to tackle properly, but otherwise it’s in good condition with no obvious marks in the carbon weave.

Tarmac Sportz Custom JDM Flares -

Due to my choice in wheels, these were a must-do to properly accommodate the width without running ridiculous camber and having to change tyres every month! These arches were professionally fitted including the cutting of the OEM arches behind them. The wheels have been aligned with a fast road setup along with the ride height being adjusted to allow a more practical drive.

    Agency Power Exhaust -

Whilst this exhaust is certainly not the quietest one you’ll ever hear on a 350Z, and that might be underestimating it a bit, unlike some singe-exits it has a wonderful tone and presence to it as well as being loud. With the current decat and y-pipe setup on the car, it’s utterly epic in person! It’s not going to be for everyone, but I feel that it complements the rest of the car perfectly. The video below doesn’t really do it justice, so if you are coming to view the car please bear in mind that this is loud on purpose! All OEM mounting points remain should you wish to change this to something more subtle though.

    Summary...

I’ve spent a lot of time and money into making this car into what it looks like today, but at the same time I also accepted that it was never going be a concourse example. It’s thirteen years old and whilst both exterior and interior are in good condition for the age, like anything else that is used as both a show car and a daily drive there is the odd mark and scratch as you would expect. Nothing excessive, and certainly a lot better than similar age cars, but I feel that this would the perfect base car for a vinyl wrap in either something really subtle like a matt grey, or possibly something even louder than the sunset orange. I’ve adored owning this car, it’s proven immense fun to both modify as well as drive, but I now need the funds to buy my first house.

  10. For all the advanced Vapers out there.

Need some advice on Mech Mods.

I've done a lot of research into it, does get confusing, but at the same time there does seem to be a fairly simple rule to follow when building your deck. (But feel free to contribute below your summary for other people)

    Anyway,

Can someone find me a Mech Mod to buy.

I've been tempted by the higher price range..purely because they look awesome.

However the sensible side of me for now doesn't want to spend £100+ just yet until I've tried it to see if I can get on with it okay.

So I'd like to spend around £50ish on one, again however, I'm also worried about going to cheap as I don't want a clone.

Sooooo could anyone recommend me a Mech Mod that is genuine along with a battery to go with it.

I'm a fan of this design (Tube shape, over the box shape)

    https://www.ukecigstore.com/vicious-ant-phenom-26650.html

Also, happy to pay a bit more if it comes with a RDA deck.

Current setup - Snow Wolf 200w About 5 different Tanks, 2 Different Drippers.

  11. Honestly Max I'd just get everything done first before the remap otherwise you're not getting the full benefit of the map you get done in the first place or the mods you add after the remap.

A decent Y-pipe is around £250-£400 and the remap (UpRev) is around £400 so you're better off getting the Y-pipe first so that you don't end up having to pay £400 twice if you discover the car doesn't run as smoothly after you add the Y-pipe. ;)

Another remap will only be about £100 because you already have the licence.

The Uprev licence fee is £100 you only need to pay that once

I thought the licence is $300?

I got quoted around £300-£400 again to get mine RE-mapped after my engine went in. Didn't bother in the end.

Like you, thought it would of just been dyno time.

  12. One of my current favourites just now is a copy of cuttwood unicorn milk, it's a very smooth creamy dessert flavour, only downside to it is the waiting time, it's one that needs at least 4 weeks minimum steeping but when it's ready it's amazing mmmmmmm

I'll post the recipe if anyone wants it

aye please. Another one I'd like to make is suicidal bunny mothers milk.

Friend just paid £20 for 30ml.... But it does taste good.
