  1. Got the Invader Gemini with the Berks. If driven sensibly can sound as quite as the stock however the noizey pedals is only a mm away. Petrol consumption up, window is always down & grin accross face since fitting !!

  2. Its a Corporate Company on the Decline along with the brand snobbery they initially built up  the man with all the good ideas is unfortunately now departed but long before he went the accountants had taken over his company, told him to stop investing in new ideas, launch a new product same as the old one but packaged & named different, make the products out of cheaper & cheaper materials but continue to sell the products at the high end price of the market. Their products are to restrictive and especially the transfer of music to different devices other than their own. C'mon what was the last completely new idea one of their products had.

Still a big corporate but i switched from the iphone 3GS to Samsung at the S2 & now have the S4 . I have the original Ipad but switched long ago to the Samsung tab simply because Apple have stood still for years & have been overtook by everyone else

 EEEeee sorry rant over. I think if you like it need it & can afford it BUY IT!! Dont listen to any one elses opinion :wacko::lol:

  3. I think your correct tony r123 but id say the bikes WOULD totally destroy the R8 at everything but cornering!! I am an ex biker (who paid for the experience) and theres no way in the world i would ever put my limited skills on my bike against my limited skills in my Zed unless it was round a roundabout for an hour & a half - you just ain't gonna win. Ever !!!

  4. Me naughty never  i saw the van at the side of the road and checked my pace and was well within the speed limit ;) , however the M3 that i had passed when accelerating off the previous round about saw my slower pace as an opportunity to retake his position and drove past me a considerable rate & past the van with the camera pointing out it rear, i re took my position higher up the road but just wondered if either he hadn't seen it or if he new something i didn't B) .

On my return trip home up the motorway later that night i did encounter an Electric (bmw) Blue van that matched the Zed in acceleration up to and including the max speed on the Zed (you know how u can set the maximum speed to 70mph ;) ) this thing was rapid rapid rapid in a straight line. A clue to what he was actually running under the bonnet was his reg that started V12 and it sounded like an American Muscle car. Very interesting and amazing what people are doing with their Mods

  5. Unless you're in a Bugatti Veyron you aint ever gonna out accelerate a motor bike, great video everybody is entitled to do what they want and if breaking the law accept your punishment, doing that on a public road is a little bit naughty but if you've never broke the speed limit by mistake or on purpose stick your name on the list below.

    1.

  6. This fits in nicely with my Mods in progress at the moment. Driving 2010 370Z ed

Had the Berks Decats & Invader Gemini system on for about three weeks and when giving it some throttle the sound is absolutely fantastic but under steady acceleration or just plodding round i am sometimes finding it a little bit droany, so a little undecided to keep the decats on

No doubt as soon as i take them off i will want the back on again cause i havent had my windows up since i done the exhaust Mods  I I have the Stillen Gen 3 waiting to go on just waiting for the rest of my Mods to come in so i can spend a full time at the garage to complete my Mod list then Remap time

My question is if i have the remap done then take the berks off do i need it remapped again?

  7. Cheers ScottyZ..

You have made my mind up - its 20mm on the back 25mm on the front just need to do a bit shopping now so. Would you say the camber kit is a must ve buy if within your budget or an unnecessary expense. As mentioned i already I have the Eibach pro springs & sway bar kit on order so ill wait for the spacers before i do a full fitment.

I have done my build mods by choosing what i wanted personally then taking advice and recommendations from the members on here, i have changed my mind on a couple of things & that as the Zed comes together i am 100% happy. Build thread to follow.

  8. Thanks for the photos gives me a better idea looking at,would be interested in seeing scottyZ if you can up load them up. Passed a big convoy of golf gti's today and seen the poke that was mentioned earlier in this tread, must admit the tucked in look was more pleasing to my eye & really dont want to start rolling my arches. Just Woundering apart from the rubbing on the front arch mentioned has anybody has any wheel arch/tyre bashing issue if so what size spacers were you running.

  9. Thanks for the replies so far much appreciated. It looks like a defo Yes to getting spacers. Now its whether to go 25mm all round or 25mm on front & 20mm on rear as some different opinions on whats best. Rubbing or damaging the zed is my biggest concern. I kinda new i would order the springs then have a rite head storm if i should of bought the spacers as well and i dont want to get the geo done twice. I could be spending that money on other mods Ha

  10. Just ordered My Eibach Pro springs & sway bar kit from Tarmac (appreciation thread & build thread to come) & still deliberating on if i should get some spacers to finish the job. If i do get spacers should i get 20mm or 25mm all round but definitely do not want any rubbing or any chance of rubbing. So if you done a build something similar to my new set up what spacers have you done.

  11. Well it will be interesting to see what you think between the two.

After driving manuals for over 25 years this included my last 350Z which i owned for 6 years, I have the Auto now and would not go back to a manual ever again.

I got into the Auto with the thought of i was not going to like it & was never going to buy it but its sitting on my drive now. Dont want to state the obvious but Its no good just letting the dealership let you drive it up the motorway then back to the dealership. I made it clear & offered the cash for the petrol that i wanted to take it for a good drive taking it up motorways, round the lane, ripping it away from standing starts & driving it round town. Lucky enough for me the salesman from the dealership was a walking encyclopedia on Zeds and was as keen as me to put it through its paces.

Cant see what benefit the manual gives over the auto - unless of course you know otherwise.

  12. The Automatic with flappy paddle does have the synco match but you can't switch it off or should i say if you can i haven't found a switch  . I drove the manual & the auto and i much prefered the Auto.

With the Auto box the gear changing when accelerating/De-accelerating is effortless, its the way all performance cars are going and the F1 cars have had it for years, you never need to move your hands from the steering wheel & left foot braking is now normal, its simple right paddle for up the box & left paddle for down the box - as they say "how hard can it be"

Or is that left up & right down :lol::lol: ..

  13. Thats the last corner before the final run up to the cafe heading back over to the hexam side - seriously must of done that road over 1000 times on my bike, its got to be one of the best twisties in the North.

I have mentioned before, this would be a great place for a central England Zed meet for North East - North West - Scotland & the Borders but it would have to be prior to the snow  , im sure everyone from the recent pearl harbour meet on wednesday could organise a orderly drive up from the Newcastle area.

And before you think you can - just wave the bike past cause you will never get to the cafe first  . Driving within the speed limits at all times ;).

I am up for a drive out anytime that suits
