  1. I originally bought a manual but a poor dealer experience led to a fall through in the hand over and went off on the hunt for another. Next day i was in my current Zed and its an Auto and to be honest wouldn't swap. Having been a biker for most my life i had always dismissed and auto as it has to be witchcraft but the Auto in the Zed is great. I think the driving experience is enhanced giving you more time to chuck it into the corners and around town and general driving its a breeze.

  2. So far its looking like the Michelins are getting the vote. I do agree the road surface does make a huge difference to the overall sound but some of the tyre compounds are so hard its like driving on hose pipes, as i said no real problems with the falcons just looking at other peoples thoughts & experiences.

  3. Nearly time for new tyres for the Zed, Currently running falcons all round and don't have any issues with them apart from a little loud on the ear. So looking for something a bit quieter without compromising performance. Without having to remortgage my house and sell my kidneys the price is secondary.

  4. It was the stick on silver stuff i was looking for, I seen in on Wheeler Dealers & various other car programs on the discovery channel, they all said it was the best for reducing the acoustic tire roar from the rear.

I have purchased the thicker mat for the boot already but just thought i would do this whilst i get the spare wheel sorted.

  5. I had already purchased the spacers some time ago and went with 20mm on the rear with 25mm on the front. I will get this sorted with the information provided & thanks for all the input from everyone.

Looking a little further forward has anybody used and recommend any soundproofing as it is something i want to tie in with this mod & looking at the rest of car to tone the road noise down a bit

  6. That looks the business & what it should of looked like all along, time to get hunting for the wheel & jack.

I have just fitted 20mm spacers to the rear & intend to fit 25mm to front. Will the spare wheel bolt directly on with that configuration regardless of a puncture or will i need to carry an additional spacer.

  7. The plot thickens after Brayster's comments. I have the 19" on my Black Edition, so my questions remain the same as i never knew the 370 came with different wheel fitments. Thanks for the link Ebized i take it you have done this successfully and the sub woofer remained. Could you PM me where you got the bits from and the costing.

  8. Started fitting some of the mods i bought for the Zed months ago. Time for the Eipach wheel spacers for the rear, took the first rear wheel off and there a huge nail head sitting in the tyre. Ill be getting that fixed tomorrow but that got me thinking i don't want to rely on the squirty foam when in the middle of no where. Done that on my bike and the AA recovered.

So time to fit a spare wheel to the 370Z. i know its in here but looking for some guidance.

Question is - Has anybody done this? Do i have to lose the Sub Woofer out of the boot to allow the fitment? Has any body got the parts required to do this along with a jack.

  9. Really interesting thread as i am just in the process of starting mods to my car so whos had the following done and at what cost. Driving a 2010 370Z

So has anybody had these done any of these and at what increase of cost in insurance

    Stainless exhaust & Decat

    Stillen Gen 3 Intakes

    Epach lowering springs

    Epach 20 & 25mm spacers

    Uprev

Be interesting to see what differences it makes to insurance premiums

  10. I've got them on 370Z had them on my 350Z as well & like them - i will like them better when they are painted the right colour (dealer b*lls up)
