  1. Totally gutted to be doing this but personal circumstances have meant that I will have to let her go far, far sooner than expected. I've only just bought her as well Anyone genuinely interested (no traders please, or anyone suspicious of problems - there are none) please consult amstrange1's advert (former member on here who I bought it off, very sound guy) for '2004 azure gt 54 plate, and PM me for other details, pricing, etc. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/70166-sold-2004-54-plate-azure-blue-350z-gt-uk-car-rays/ Don't need to sell urgently, would prefer the right buyer to come along - may consider part ex for a very cheap, economical run about, my commute to work just doesn't suit the zed unfortunately. Such is life
  2. thanks for the comments. Lyndzz - if you're holding off buying until next summer, let me know! And yes, will be hard to sell when the time comes.
  3. Hi all, Thought I would finally get some photos up following the first wash and wax session (taken a few weeks back). Bought the car from amstrange1 (former member on here) back in mid-July, and very pleased with it. Will probably have to let it go this time next year, so going to enjoy it as much as possible whilst I can. What fantastic cars these machines are. Any questions, let me know. Car is an Azure GT (54 plate) late 2004, Uprev plus stainless exhaust are the only mods (didn't want an overly modified car). I imagine CS (Cougar Store) will see the car sooner or later, I'm based in Leicester and will be servicing mid October. Cheers, pdg
  4. Saw parked up about 3 weeks back in the car park from a distance.
  5. I agree. Like buses, they all come along at once. I too saw 2 today which is rare.
  6. Came past me at around 5:45 tonight (tues) - possibly on way to ashby car night?
  7. Ashby Folville village car and bike night. My dad took a photo after seeing a car 'similar' to mine. Shame I wasn't there myself to make up the zed numbers. There was apparently a red and a black around too.
  8. Car was just turning into the road for Morrisons. First red one I'd ever seen on the road, standard gt wheels. Anyone on here?
  9. Hi CS If it was around 6pm on Wednesday 7th then it was probably my car, though I didn't drive on netherhall road; rather, I passed McDonald's coming down hungarton boulevard, ie the hill that netherhall road opens out into. Anything particular you noticed?
  10. Indeed. Never seems to move, and always parked at exactly the same angle - perhaps a car that isn't used much?
  11. At IKEA Nottingham car park about a week ago....anyone on here? Looked nice with the black wheels.
  12. Black wheels I think, at a car show near Melton recently. Is it a forum member car?
  13. Square number plate, always seems to be parked on its drive whenever I pass, not far from Shell Garage in Humberstone area. Anyone on here?
  14. SOLD - to me What a great car, thanks Andy for such a smooth sale. Mods, please lock the thread. I'm sure Andy will confirm but he doesn't get on here too often - I had to be persistent (as Colin will verify) to get this car.
  15. Thanks Greg. I should add that Red is also a colour I would consider, and silver, if both of these colours are accompanied by black wheels. I'll be based in the Leicester area. If any other owners are thinking of selling around that time, please get in touch.
  16. Hi, Looking to acquire a 350Z GT in July, when I will be returning to the UK to work. I'll be looking to buy it asap, so now starting to look around to see what is available. Here are the particulars: UK car, must have GT spec No Alezan - must have black leather interior Azure, Black or Gun metal preferred Not too high mileage / low owners Fully documented service history is a must Standard example is preferred, though a few tasteful mods such as wheels (only 18s please), exhaust etc is OK My budget isn't massive, around the £6k mark or so, but hope someone on here might have a minter that they will be willing to part with nearer the time. Thanks for reading.
  17. whatever - clearly you can't read then, if that's your opinion. scroll through the threads and check the order (whilst learning to spell) people like him aren't worth dealing with (so i've been told when complaining to several people a lot 'higher' than him in terms of posts) LOL! like post count makes you any "higher". I think I actually agree with him now you are just a troll. Why should I check through posts because your a little a girl? Grow up. when did you never agree with him? i think you are the one who needs to grow up - as said from the beginning, he drew first blood, if you had read the posts properly then perhaps you would be able to come to such a simple conclusion.

  19. So was the other one. I think this guy is a troll. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 As you drew first blood, here's my 2 cents. It's arrogant scum like you who give car forums like this a bad name. The type who always put newbies seeking advice (albeit sometimes overkeen, but what's wrong with that) down all the time. Take your insults and your advice elsewhere.
  20. So was the other one. I think this guy is a troll. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 Not sure your point here, I like many others new to the forum was just after some decent advice, not sure why you had to resort to insults?
  21. The thread 'driving in the snow' made for rather worrying reading, if you must know. That's why I was trying to explore the options, sorry if the obsession was too much for you? I won't be able to afford 2 sets of tyres, so I guess that when the time comes, I will invest in the MPSS. As for the winter - I don't really want to think about it, guess I will just have to pray. Being used to FWD all the time and having heard horror stories from BMW and other rwd owners, I'm a bit worried, yes. I know how to drive in snow in FWD, just wondering how much more difficult it will be in a powerful rwd car.
  22. thanks spursmaddave. presumably then you are saying that the RE050A is better in the snow than the MPSS (but not in the wet) due to it being a 'year round' rather than per se summer tyre? just wondered how that would work if as you say they are 'skittish' at colder temps.
  23. apologies for lack of knowledge but what are 'balloon' tyres?
