Hi, we have a 2011 Corsa, one of the headlight bulbs has blown, it is the model with 2 bulb's in each headlight. Has anyone any knowledge of changing these bulb's, no way can I get my hand's in between the headlamp and engine bay.
I had a quick Google and it say's remove the front bumper, this seems a bit extreme and I'm worried that If I take it off I wont get it back on straight.
Any tip's or suggestion's please?
Cheers,
Colin.

Welcome, I lived in SA for 8 years (Kempton Park / Bonaero Park), also did a 3 week driving trip last year. JHB to Eastern Transvaal (Gauteng) and back, flew to George and made our way to Cape Town stopping at Gaans bay also for the GW cage diving. The Police were not so liberal with me, I got a speeding ticket which the kindly sent to the hire company who then forwarded it to me in the UK, just as well I was in an X Trail and not the Z

Hi Luke, I have been in the Fire Service for 25 years now and have to say for the most it's been great. When I joined the old guy's used to say how thing's had changed since they started. Well now it's my turn, it is the kind of job that moves with the times, we now train for many things. The average Firefighter is now trained to fight fires, casualty care, road traffic accidents, chemical incident, water rescue and line rescue, animal rescue and I don't mean cat's. We also have specialist teams trained to a higher standard in these areas and then we are all trained for the modern threat of terrorism.
We have a laugh but we also see some bad things, we don't play snooker or dart's all day as some would like to believe times are changing in the Public services but I can honestly say my time has been enjoyable, always something different.

Thank you both for that, I like the idea of black on blue but you both seem to have had issues with either the vinyl wrap or plastidip, maybe I should cost it up for spray painting
-
Hi GIXXERUK,
Just interested to know, is the diffuser painted black or have you had it vinyl wrapped, also have you also done the front fang's? I have the same Le Mans Blue and like the blue/black idea on the bumper's. Also if you don't mind me asking what is the cost?
Cheers, Colin.

Why not drive to Sheffield and let Cobra fit it, that's what I did, must be about 35 mile so not too far and gives you chance to listen to your exhaust

Went on a drive through the Yorkshire Dales yesterday, past a blue 350 in Keighley. A ginger/gold 350 soft top parked on the roadside in a small village near Hawes. Then a black 370 flashed and waved near Ingleton as we were going in opposite directions, anyone from the site?

Make an official complaint to the Police, too many times they are not interested and it Is not good enough. Make an official complaint and an inspector should eventually call at your house to interview you. Ask why they refuse to follow it up when you have cctv footage, what time and if scrote reported his car stolen, was scrotes car returned to his driveway or found burnt out, was there evidence of theft on scrotes car like broken windows or damaged locks. Then if you are not happy with his replies then politely inform him that you are taking it to the local MP, the Courier and the Police Authority.

Sorry to see that Gudzy, is that on Willowfield? I have seen your car parked up whilst they are doing the road. I take it that you have managed to trace the driver & car from the cctv footage. Can you not take out a prosecution using your own insurance, I know the scrote will pay a £1 a week but at least they don't get away scot free.

Thanks for that, I have just ordered some Chemical Guys Glossworkz shampoo and the Dodo juice supernatural wax (panel pot). I noticed they also do a wax/sealant I hope you did not mean that one.

Thanks Ekona, now AG shampoo is what I use, I wash the car regular as it is parked outside. It is used most days just depends what shift I'm on. So looks like I have to change my shampoo also

The car was clayed and polished not so long ago so is in good condition, I just want to keep on top of it as the weather improves.
-
GIXXERUK, nice choice of colour so I'm sorted on the Black Hole but what is the Blacklight and Glossworkz are these also polishes or waxes?

Hi Tim/Dan,
I thought that I would give you a try as my policy is due for renewal, yesterday I spoke to a lady called Nichol, she has all my details.
I pay £365 at the moment with £250 compulsory excess and £0 voluntary with a courtesy car if I have an accident.
I was quoted by yourselves, £400 with £500 compulsory and a courtesy car only if I have a no fault accident, can you better this quote?
Cheers,
Colin.
