  1. I was hoping to come along to Lakes Z 2013 and meet a few of you but have to go to Amsterdam instead!

Now I read that there are going to be some mod workshops which I would have been really keen to see/attend, what a great idea but it's just rubbing salt in to the wound as I still can't go!!

  2. Will have been registered as a PLG so you get cheaper tax ;)

Hmm, did a random check on a 350Z Import, listed as Petrol but lower tax  .

You can check registration date at https://www.taxdisc....?execution=e1s1

I will see if I can get some info on it from Japan but I guess I'm stuck with the higher rate (for the moment) but I think it's still worth it :)

  3. Thanks Dave, I will get on to it A.S.A.P; well worth spending some time to investigate.

It is an 06 plate but well worth checking it out, as I have some friends in Japan I might enlist them to help.

  4. Thanks for the info Guys.

Just checked the paper work on my car & the only thing of use (which won't help me) is the mileage verification, which says; 16-06-06, Del Mileage, New. So I guess I will be paying the higher rate :excl::thumbdown:

  5. Hi, has anyone tried a Navi unit from an Nissan Almera? Not having seen the back of a unit, are these connections the same?

    Thanks, Gary

  6. Hi, welcome, new (ish) to the site myself.

I have a import Auto & love it

Like any used car do some homework (this site is a really great resource) & take someone with some knowledge with you, two heads are better then one. If it doesn't feel right walk away

  7. Just checked my tax disc, £475 for the year last year. The DVLA website says it should/will be £490 for an import June 2006 from April 2013  So I guess most of you are getting a better deal than me

    Band M CO2 emissions(g/km)

    Over 255 £490.00

  8. While in France I saw a TV programme showing what could happen to a section of summer tyre V a section winter tyre when left on ice, the summer tyre section just fell to bits. Could the damage be caused due to our recent change in winter weather patterns?
