Right any of you guys fancy a meet. I've been asked to show my Zeds exhaust recent mod but as it light at night how about a midweek meet somewhere after work. Thursdays are best for me and good if we don't want to mess with bikers. (E.g. choose Sherburn).

Now there's a future plan. Yours looks similar age to mine. Planning to get the rays re scimmed too some time.

Do we want to float the idea of a summer meet somewhere as a group with a bigger group invite (biker days would be ride out) ?

Stayed with my cats and the mid tone (not extra loud). Great at low speed ie silent through slow traffic then vroom.

Cat onwards yep. Sounds ace. Very very pleased. Torque pull and smoothness better at low revs. 699 fitted 5 hrs labour. 10 yr transferable Warrenty.

These are nice but if you sound faster than you are you'll be the one stopped. (Ex stealth biker chic)

Mine is off for full system tomorrow at Tony Banks Leeds. Might post the result but their costs are great and got a good local rep. I'm choosing TVR type burble over being annoying to neighbours. Might be my age tho !

Well depends if you wish to travel I've been to Atkin Motor Engineers at Malton for my P2 (give forum discount) plus Chris is a 350 zed owner and his dad has an older version plus you get an authorised Nissan stamp in yer book.

My Zed hadn't had a 'proper' service on his books (nissan) for 1/1/2 years so I wanted guys who knew the cars. I also wanted guys who wouldn't charge for an internet search how to fix things (ie knew my 'little baby ' and could deliver in the day (e.g. unexpected parts etc).

It was a good move for me. P1 might be done locally and is quite simple. i can't say. Depends if you want an once over.

I am much happier now with my Zed and also the a to attention about looking after performance cars at what appears a normal garage.

You don't want the cheapest service but safest and reliable imo.

Money is a factor but a performance engine will always need some upkeep (premium food) (oil, fuel etc).

I was very happy anything I asked about was addressed and my zed feels like he was seriously looked after.

Zeb now has a handbrake that works; a full service; adjusted clutch and brakes that are just ace (if a brembo squeak but normal if very hot <grins>).

I was a happier bunny driving home and could still see the difference a week later.

That if you are geeky and read the manual you know how to engage first change gear and find all hidden cubbyhole holes. You also find if your alternator is OK if your oil is having a great time and how to use the lap timer..

If you drive a nice fast car you don't have to conform to the opinion about the people who drive them. Fortunately one ahead on that criticism as I don't even have one.

If you can drive the 350 in more than a dry day Ill take comments seriously.
