  1. This is so funny and nice. Like bikes are ffs fast but hey the Zed has something they don't. I don't feel trapped in a helmet or leather up for a trip to work (OK steady boys). Actually I can honestly say my zed is the best present I've ever bought myself. My Chesterfield was ace but riding in a strong crosswind was challenging. I didn't have the gravity required over Moor roads!

  2. Hi sorry for a delayed reply.

I've had bike wise an RS125 Chesterfield : first bike

    Fazer 600

    SV 650

Unfortunately I get too cold to feel I can ride safely.

I've therefore gone for a Zed. A Zed I can enjoy with the roof down cause if heated seats etc.

Yes I've been through all biker heated clothing too.

  3. Yep need to get some pics, was too busy driving to take any! :-)

New zedness seems to cause a queue of people wanting a ride !

Other notable quotes include 'oh my you'll kill someone in that'; I wanna go (not going to happen), that's a bit of a muscle car <for a girl>, you'll always be at the petrol pump.

I have new bling nail art to celebrate Zebedees arrival too :-)

    Now that's Zedication.

  4. I have 12 yrs NCB but most companies it isn't transferable <T4 2.5 tdi camber Van> . Best deal Admiral for me.

Anyway had my mechanic mate check the Zedness out and what a beautiful beastie. 12 months MOT to boot (negotiated know what I'm doing like ;) ). Plus lucky me that head unit has already been replaced and all the heated seats, roof, windows, heated rear window and streaming bluetooth and hands free work.

My Zed seemed like a compromise from an Elise. Now I think this is a huge amount of car for my cash. Plus with an Elise I couldn't have called myself a smitten V6 kitten.

Plus again thanks for your welcome everyone :-)

  5. Thanks so much for the info folks. Plus the nice intro to a community of enthusiasts that seem smitten with their V6 kittens.

I got my <ahem no NCB> but 12 yrs otherwise insurance (keeping her van - ness so can't Transfer) through Admiral and comare that tall mammal site.

Ta everyone picking Zebedee up Sunday <means my gift quite apt I bought the loverly beasie for my 40th!!)

Best thing is its due to be sunny on Sunday wooooooooooooooooooo!

    (OK i'm giddy)

    :-)

  6. OK this snow thing I aren't bothered and managed to make it very day to work with a Polo GTI with ESP you couldn't turn off in all conditions and ungritted UK roads when I did 24-7 on call <awful to drive don't get one>.

I'm thinkin this might be a prove you can drive link :-)

    He he.

On a really positive bike note I got a kick in the tail like a bike and I knew to fettle the throttle with ooh look what I could do.

Plus warm and don't have to freeze to death in leathers <even though they looked cool>

  7. It's cold up ere already although with hood up surprisingly warm.

I very probably won't leave the wee beastie inside early as I should and will probably clean the beast up after salt including a wash and extra moisturiser - well it works for me :-)

Wot do you folks think, whendo you put your 350z away and how,

Yes I'm techy and not a normal lass :-)

  8. Ta everyone, just realised how girly the comment was about heated seats lol .

The V6 is less girly though :-). I've been looking for a while and this is the best roadster I've seen and I've managed to do a deal on 12 months MOT and discount.

Wee beastie has new tires and full Nissan service history up until the last service (which was also a major dealer) HPI clear and not pranged. Mileage looks genuine checked all wear and tear a scuff on the bodywork but that's normal an easily sorted.

All electrics worked roof very clean and obviously a garaged car. Slightly kerbed alloys but to be expected (well not if I'm driving) but normal drivers lol.

Looking forward to a year of mucho fun. Saving for fuel now :-) (Actually not really saved a few K not buying a TT lol) :yahoo: :yahoo:

  9. Ta folks a lovely welcome :-)

I just have to clear my garage now for her zeddness (actually it might be his zeddness not decided yet).

What a friendly lot you are. I have a T4 VW camper as well and its equal to that :-)

First test drive was in greasy UK weather I'm looking forward to opening the beastie up. Good job I'm used to looking at the state of the roads :-)

I like the Zed told me it was 'ICY' as well as 3 degress <sad but true> loving the heated seats :-)

  10. Hi Everyone,

Just put my money where my mouth is and deposit on a 350 z Roadster today.

Yes I know winter is on its way but I like a good deal :-)

Grey with orange leather (actually nicer than it sounds) and an early 40th present to myself (ex biker).

Deffo a warmer option than the bike and I couldn't take that out in snow either :-)

Anyway Hello and I can't wait to pick the beastie up this weekend.

Would appreciate any insurance advice - I have 12 years no claims but on a vehicle that I am keeping as well as wee beastie.

    Cheers and hello!
